    • Missing parts and broken parts, no way to request new parts
I do infact like this bed BUT I never got what parts I needed to complete it nor is there any contact information for dealer provided. When I got it I realized this is a "brown box" good with no product name. Meaning "Merax" isn't a manufacturer but a reseller. I do not mind this but they left no way to contact them. There is something strange about this selling in general where other reviews show pictures of different products (are they copy pasted from their other listings?). Try doing a Google image search on the pictures for this item and you should find there are several listed on Amazon, one is 70$ cheaper (I didn't investigate till I had problems later sadly)! The odd thing is they both say "shipped by amazon" and "sold by amazon". That shouldn't be possible? I know duplicates of items sold are common but showing "sold by amazon" is strange in those cases. One of my major support beams is broken at the base. One of the two arms for the shelf is missing a functional arm so I can't install the shelf. The holes are reversed on a 45 degree angle arm so i cant simply turn it around. It also gives the frame support so should I even lay on this thing? The connector frame on the screw hole that supports the mattress was severely bent. I was able to bend it back with pliers. I can say that might not be thier fault but something that happened in shipping but once again I can't even contact them for a replacement part had I not been able to bend it into shape. It takes hours to install. I knew this beforehand so I was prepared for that. The main legs and other pieces have holes on both sides so it's hard to mess up. That is a great and thoughtful feature. BUT BUT, there are a few of many parts that have all the holes but one, leaving you with a single hole in the wrong direction. One of these is one of the major support legs and you will find out when you are almost finished if you follow directions. To fix it you will have to dismantle at least 1/3 of the bed. It could be a hole was missed in manufacturing but then it's just bad QA checking. If the company is willing to give me some way to contact them and replacement parts, I'll take back my review despite all the troubles. I just want a functional product. I hate giving a bad review to a product I would like, but I wasn't give what was needed to use it. Otherwise I think I would have loved this bed and given five stars. Update: Amazon is helping me with replacement. I'm glad they would help me. I couldn't find a way to contact the seller or manufacturer. I would have been stuck. Bed took us 5 hours with 2 people to assemble. From China so only picture diagrams with no words. “w” pieces might be labeled “m” ;). Just don’t screw anything down fully until you are done as you have to adjust the alignment for some steps. Very simple looking loft bed and perfect for our purposes.

Putting this thing together was an experience to say the least. Many pieces were bent and didn’t line up correctly, and some screws were missing. However, with a little creativity, the bed was eventually put together and looks amazing once it’s up! Definitely takes a minimum of two people to put everything together. ... show more

    • Terrible directions
This thing was SO ridiculous to put together. Holes weren’t drilled properly and this directions were so vague. Built for my sons room and he’s excited but it’s not worth the stress or the money
