I think the previous ones had a step counter in shoe so thats why the price was more but i still think these are better, more comfortable and the design of shoe is better too. I am a fanatic when it comes to shoes. I have, at the least, 30 pairs that are mostly name brand. These shoes caught my eye as I was looking for a solid gray to go with some of my outfits. When they arrived they came in a plastic zip up bag and not a shoe box which is why I am rating them a 4. They are comfortable and light weight. I wear a size 9-9 1/2 depending on the shoe but for these I had to get an 8 1/2 for them to fit comfortably. They don't have great traction to them and you can slip around pretty easily which is another reason for the 4 rating. The quality of the shoe is great and like I said, they fit snugly. ... show more
