These M are 32-33..and I'd say they run on the larger end of that spectrum because they were a little loose and I needed the string to hold them up, especially if I had anything in my pockets. These are great shorts for a great price. Go one size bigger because they fit slightly smaller than the listed sizes. I bought 5x which normally fits perfect but I need these in 6x and they would be perfect. Soft and comfortable overall, worth the price. I'd buy again but would get the larger size.
