I will preface this review with the fact that after years of wearing duty boots my feet are very picky about shoes and boots now! Looking for comfortable dress boots that have good traction that I can stand in for long periods but also look great is huge. These boots are it! Easily polishable and fast to break in! Comfortable for wearing for long periods and as I work in security now the traction is great should you need it! Well worth the money!

The boots fit fine and are very comfortable. Little snug at the ball of the foot. Construction is machine-sewn and consistent. Heel is synthetic - probably urethane painted to look like layers of leather. The upper is leather but not a particularly high grade. It's a casual boot made for office use, running errands and such. The tip/toe stretches out for miles. If you have long skinny feet and toes, you will find this boot to be fantastic. The rest of us will not have to worry if someone threatens to shoot off one of our toes because they're gonna miss. You could store something in there, I suppose. Extra batteries, gum, a Carmex tin, etc.

Had to break them in a bit and at first I was worried. The ankle was a little painful but after a day or two everything broke in just fine. These have now been daily wearers AND there’s already a nice cushioned insole so didn’t have to add one. Turns out they aren’t, as my daughter calls them, “clicky shoes” as what looks like a wooden sole is actually very nicely disguised rubber. Makes these comfortable for walking and easy to sneak up on people
