We used this during our Hawaii trip in April, and it ended up being one of the most useful things we packed. The weather and water temperature were warm, so it was comfortable to wear without feeling too hot, even while fully covered. It dried well after use and made changing clothes privately inside very easy, which was especially helpful at the beach. We also took a boat out for snorkeling, and this was incredibly useful on the ride back after swimming. It helped keep everyone comfortable, covered, and warm enough while drying off. My 8-year-old said it felt a little too long, so younger or shorter kids may find the length a bit much. My 10-year-old was very happy with it. For sizing reference, it worked well for people around 5.1 ft and 6.1 ft. My husband especially loved how easy it made changing clothes after swimming. Overall, a very practical item for beach trips, snorkeling, pool days, lake days, or travel. We were very glad we brought it.

Not the most attractive looking article of clothing but possibly handy to have if you want to sit outside for awhile after being in the pool and it's getting chilly outside. The color is a darker, matte blue rather than the tropical blue color shown. I'm not sure what the giant loop on the back is for - the sides do not close up, just a big massive length of fabric and a drying loop at the neck or top of hoodie would have been more useful. The poncho is quite large so it will fit well on most individuals. The cloth feels like chamois cloth, typically used to dry a car; description states it is microfiber which is the term usually used for a towel - the fabric is chamois texture, flat, soft, but not like a towel. Poncho rolls up easily for storage in backpack.

Ok first of all I thought towels meant like that textured thick double sided textured terry cloth like beach or bath towels for rubbing and drying your body and hair off , great for putting on getting out of a jacuzzi or pool, or your joining someone post hotel room shower or night alone shower, or have family waited for the bathroom and don't have time to fully dry off before exiting... i got this because I have a tiny bathroom,hard to change and I make it a point to get a Good shower and bath in every time I go to my bfs but he has roommates and I have to cover up to get back and . but this is sham wow material a
