These hiking shoes are great! I am flat footed so it is hard at times to find a shoe, let alone hiking boot that doesn’t have high arches and uncomfortable features. I literally wore this shoe for the first time today and did a few hikes. They were very comfortable, withstood the water and mud, and best of all my feet didn’t hurt after hours of walking in them. The grip is amazing. During my hike I was on a lot of dirt, uneven, and wet/mussy terrain. I was easily able to navigate the hike and my shoes stood firm regardless of of the condition of the ground. I didn’t slip and slide in the mud or dirt. The high top was comfortable and very cushioned. It gave me the support I needed to complete the hike. The shoes are a bit bulky but they are pretty light and definitely keep your feet warm and dry. These were really great all in all. I look forward to my next outdoor adventure in them!

These are very good boots. They checked all my boxes. Lightweight but sturdy. Only one hook loop at the top. I've only worn them for a couple weeks but no sign of failure whatsoever. Only 4 stars for a couple reasons, some of which may not apply to someone else. First off, the boots are grey, not black. I didn't deduct anything for this because I like grey just as much as black. Your opinion may vary. Secondly, they are comfortable right out of the box, however, I added 2/3 length gel insoles with arch support, and the difference was incredible. Now they are the most comfortable hiking boots ever. Slight deduction there. Third, and this is just an issue for me, it probably won't affect 98% of other buyers, but, I live up in the White Mountains of Arizona, and BB sized D.G. is everywhere. I mean everywhere! And the tread design is perfectly molded to pick up these little pieces of D.G. and wedge them in in alarming amounts. 10 - 12 sharp little rocks per boot. I don't dare walk into the house with our hardwood floors. So I have to take off the boots while dancing - nowhere to sit - stand in the dirt and D.G. and pop out all the little rocks with a small screwdriver, then walk into the house wearing dirty socks. Very inconvienent and the wife glares at me. I wish they had big lugs, and not small slits. But this is a 'me' problem, and probably not a 'you' problem. If I lived somewhere with grass and pavement, they would be perfect hiking boots.

Only wore them 10 times or so. They are the type of hikers that feel broken in out of the box. Very comfortable. I bought the black and they are more of a deep navy blue. Guess that's why they have a "deep" black choice. Size is perfect. Waterproof for now. I muddied them up and hosed them off..feet stayed dry. Great deal for the price.

I was nervous about the sizing so ordered 1/2 a size bigger. I figured could wear thick socks if loose. Turns out it's exactly the right size, not loose, not tight just snug. Comfortable padding. It's Slightly warmer than expected but feel that will come in handy for winter. The color is nice got the grey which is slightly bluish. Going to go stompping in the mud to test them soon.

Very reasonably priced boots. Pretty comfortable. I live and work on a 20 acre ranch in all kinds of weather and probably buy a new pair of boots every six months or so. In my experience, waterproof is a description I take with a large grain of salt. Water resistant is usually a better description and pretty much all I can hope for. If they turn out to be, in fact, waterproof, I will update this review. And if they last more than 6 months, I will also report that.
