I purchased these shoes as a replacement for hiking (and motorcycling) shoes that I have had for a couple years. I am pleased with these shoes' look and comfort. I ordered a size 11, and they fit just fine. One thing of note, I wouldn't consider these shoes a true black like my previous hiking shoes, even though they are described as such and appear that way in the picture. They are really a deep dark charcoal gray with the lighter gray highlights. Nevertheless, they look good and are comfortable. Since I've only had them for a brief time, I cannot speak yet of their durability.

Soft comfortable went for a 5mile hike in mountains and feet felt good. Size is correct. Very durable. Don’t get wet so. It sure if water proof.

Getting the right shoe At first, the shoes fit tight at first making them hard to wear at first. However with time they were fairly comfy but still a bit snug. I will say this, they have been the best shoes for my plantar fasciitis, hands down! I can walk further in these shoes than any other, even with orthotics, without foot pain! Perhaps I need a wider version of the 9.5?
