Got this terry bathrobe to replace a microfiber bathrobe that would not stop shedding. Robe color matches well, fit was as expected, and it is not shedding at all. Belt loops are about the right position and overall the robe feels very durable and well constructed. Would definitely purchase again.

So I love my new robe. Had it two months now I guess. 1) Like a lot of other reviewers: if you buy one of these, order a size too big, maybe two sizes. It will shrink a bit, even if you cold wash it and air dry it. I ordered one size bigger and it fits me perfect now. 2) I only use it for my pool, in the winter. When I get out of the pool, I put it on and it works great - I don't freeze. But when I come in the house I throw it in the dryer and I have noticed some fraying. That's ok - I use it nearly every day. 3) It is super comfy and very warm if you are one of those people who generates a lot of natural heat (like me.) I can only wear it for about 10 minutes before I boiling-frog-overheat. This robe is perfect for me, but far from perfect and others may not like it as much depending on your goals and future purpose. I love this robe and when this one wears out I'll be back to buy another. ... show more

This robe is not what I would call “soft and fluffy” and feels much cheaper and thinner than others I have bought in the past. I am a female who normally would order a “Medium” size robe in the past but a large was recommended and what I purchased. I was worried that a men’s size large might be too big for me but it fits fine so the sizing on this robe is not generous, when in doubt, size up. I have bought other robes on Amazon at a similar price point that I loved but the robes I used to buy don’t appear to be for sale any more which is why I bought this one. Terrycloth is thick. And comfortable, it feels like terrycloth and not fleece I am 5' 10" and 180 lbs, the large fits me real well. It feels like you have a robe on! And not similar to a sheet like cheap robes. Satisfaction 100%

I bought this robe to replace a Wamsutta bathrobe, which I have always liked but I was not going to pay the price that they wanted. I opted for this bathrobe because it was a good price. It is just slightly less thicker than the Wamsutta robe, but it is definitely thick enough and I am very happy with this purchase. Remember to order one size up from your normal size.
