    • Nice bathrobe, belt is a bit short, if you have a larger waist it might not be a good choice

I like this bathrobe, except for one thing: the belt is too short. The 100% cotton material is soft and comfortable. The length of the sleeves is spot on. However, when I went to tie it for the first time, there was barely enough slack to make a loose knot. I am using the belt from my old robe on this one as a workaround. My old robe and this one are nearly identical in all the measurements except for this one thing. I placed the two belts side-by-side and the new one is a foot shorter. So be aware that you may have to draw the belt tight to keep the robe closed. ... show more

Very pleased with this robe. I have another one purchased 30 years ago from a major upscale retail store. And its still in good shape. But, its very heavy. Its great in Fall and Winter but too heavy in Spring & Summer. This new one is lighter weight but plenty thirsty. Its perfect for hot Georgia Summer. Didn't cost much....so it's okay value I guess...but the sizing is SMALL. I ordered L, it is usable, but barely. They don't have XL, just what they call XXL....but its' really an XL....I ordered that one too since I can use two of these. So I love my new robe. Had it two months now I guess. 1) Like a lot of other reviewers: if you buy one of these, order a size too big, maybe two sizes. It will shrink a bit, even if you cold wash it and air dry it. I ordered one size bigger and it fits me perfect now. 2) I only use it for my pool, in the winter. When I get out of the pool, I put it on and it works great - I don't freeze. But when I come in the house I throw it in the dryer and I have noticed some fraying. That's ok - I use it nearly every day. 3) It is super comfy and very warm if you are one of those people who generates a lot of natural heat (like me.) I can only wear it for about 10 minutes before I boiling-frog-overheat. This robe is perfect for me, but far from perfect and others may not like it as much depending on your goals and future purpose. I love this robe and when this one wears out I'll be back to buy another. ... show more
