  • AMAZING
Size: Medium Color: Black
This is my first amazon review ever & ive made over 150 purchases through here in my life! Ive had many purchases that pleased me but these jeans amazed me. I'm very picky when it comes to jeans and styles and this is A1++ I bought the medium and I'm barely 5'11, 33 waist. So some jeans I fit a 32 and others I fit a 33, but 34s are way too big. This medium size was perfect for me. Don't listen to the reviews about the knee pads being too low, there are 2 pockets in the knee section where you can have it lower and higher. I used the upper pocket and fit perfect. Jeans are not tight but not loose. They stretch & feel very comfortable. I do not feel restricted at all & they look great. You can wear these out in public without causing too much attention. You can wear your favorite nikes, jordans, or riding boots and will fit them well. These are practically the same exact thing as the $200-$300 riding jeans you see online just for a fraction of the price. Ill deff be buying more for sure in the future, just hoping they come out with a grey color pair. Though these are exactly what I was hoping for. Im going to give them 5 stars but nothing is perfect. Cons -Shipping was almost 2 weeks. But I knew that -They did come with a very weird smell. Almost like brand new plastic or something. But nothing a simple wash can't fix which is why I'll keep the 5 stars ... show more

  • Decent for the price
Pants fit reasonably well, and are a soft, stretchy material which makes for decent riding. The armor is reasonably thick, which is also nice. There are two tradeoffs which concern me, however. First and most importantly, the material does not feel durable. In a slide, I feel confident that they would shred immediately. So consider these to be low-speed training gear, rather than highway-capable. The second, is that they are rather thick and therefore warm. That could be nice in cooler weather, but if you are prone to overheating, these will certainly not help matters. For the price, and for the use case, I'm content. But if you're planning on serious riding, I'd recommend you pony up for serious gear. ... show more

  • Don't Wear Without Reading First
Size: Large Color: Blue
I received these today. Size XL (meant to be a 34 waist). The first thing I did was try them on, and they are quite tight in the legs, but the waist fits alright. Because the pants have a little bit of give from the spandex going a size up would probably only help around the waist, but otherwise these feel true to the size. What I did notice is how uncomfortable the pads were, and that the hip pads were "missing". They put both pads in the knees when they ship them. Taking out the hip pads and placing them in the inner lining pockets didn't change the fit at all, which is pretty good. The inner hip pockets have velcro and it's easy to place the pads inside, but they aren't really attached that well. They kind of feel like they are swim-shorts pockets, so don't be surprised if they separate eventually and need to be resewn after repeated washes and hip pad adjustments. The CE2 pads are certainly great to have. While I often throw some knee and elbow pads over my normal clothes as it's more comfortable when I get to my destination, these are perfect for longer rides where you don't want uncomfortable straps on you. They also look pretty good for the price. Overall I can't complain much. I'll be keeping them. ... show more

  • Comfy
Size: Medium Color: Black
Comfortable, flexible, and mildly protective. Haven't had to put the last part to the test yet, but I feel more confident with the Level 1 pads in place

  • Expected less, got more, but still not good enough
Size: Small Color: Army Green
I bought three pairs of similar pants for motorcycle riding from Amazon. Doing a collective review for them all here: VNFOX $60: 3/5 stars. I was honestly expecting worse given the low price point but the material was moderately thick and the pads were OK (don't expect too much protection though). The main downside was that the knee pads were sitting completely below my knees. I'm 5'6 with a thin build and got a size 28. These may have been a good option if I was closer to 6' tall. NBT $150: 2/5 stars. Very disappointed given that they were $100 more than VNFOX and you can tell they were made in the exact same factory. All of the details were exactly the same EXCEPT the knee pads felt thinner (-1 star), the pants felt overall lighter = slightly less dense material (-1 star). However, the knee pads sat half way below my knees instead of completely below them. I think if I were to ride with these, I would be OK given that my knees would be bent (+1 star). SHIMA Giro 2.0 $120: 5/5 stars. These were by far the best. The material quality is much higher, the fit was perfect (keep in mind, I'm a slim build) and would likely still be so for someone taller than me. Lastly, the knee pads were certainly of superior quality (not track quality but still solid). Lots of functional pockets too! Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Almost awesome. Awful QA.
Size: Medium Color: Army Green
I really want to like these pants. They look great and they fit really well... But they're coming apart at the seams. Literally. When I first got them I noticed some loose stitching and frayed threads. After wearing them for a couple of hours, they started to come apart. Now I'm going to have to fix them by mending the parts that are loose and reinforcing all the stitching myself. This is definitely NOT what I want to be doing for a pair of pants I just paid $60 for. The protective padding provided seems like it could withstand a fall/slide, but the pants will fall apart before you even get on your bike. ... show more
