A little tough to break in, but overall has been good for rucking and hiking. Fairly comfortable and light, but firm. Leather polishes up nicely and ain't afraid to go through a creek either. Only thing I've modified, I replaced the strings with a more standard issue style, which you can get at walmart for a couple bucks. Not bad at all for the price!

Received my jungle boots today, and got to say I'm really suprised and happy with the look and feel so far, I will say you get what you pay for, but as far as my pair everything does look great and with the included insoles they feel amazing on the feet. I'm going to wear them to work tonight and see how they do against a 16 hour shift in a Coal/Coke Plant, but that will be their test. And I will do a updated review soon. But so far I'm liking what I see for the money and liking the way they feel. While I do prefer the full leather from toe to shin I'm still gonna give these the shot they deserve.

As an Army Vet I wanted some retro military boots for my work. I am disappointed. These boots are ridiculously large for size 10s. It feels like wearing along the lines of size 11s, even with excessive tightening they feel loose with plenty of heel slip. The material as well I am not sure is proper leather, as out of the box they had a sheen similar to faux leather. Within 20 minutes of wear before work they became creased and wrinkled. I cannot recommend these boots to anyone, but if you do be sure to go a size smaller then your normal shoe size. Edit: Seller and Midway contacted me through Amazon after my refund and review. After some talking they sent me a size 9 free of charge to see how they work. To my pleasant surprise the size 9s fit my feet near perfectly, even though my feet are a size 10. So I would still recommend getting a full size down. I am very impressed by the customer service from both seller and Midway themselves.

Better than expected. These boots are like the issued boots which I have been trying to find for a couple months. Seems the only ones left are the extreme sizes: teeny and huge. The Chinese made boots fit the bill. Double thickness material uppers are a departure from the original design but no problem. Soles are rubber flexible and make the boots grippy and silent. Quadruple sewn stitching for rugged durability. Fit perfectly from the box and hardly any break in needed. Gonna get a second pair these are so good.

Most comfortable boot out of the box I've had, flexible sole and still good tread. But sole falls off in 3 months of carpentry. I'm on at least my 8th pair, but I keep coming back for years... 🤷 lol Can be reglued a couple times and a few 1/2 screws through the subsole into the rubber while still new will buy you more time. Honestly would be 5 stars if they lasted even 6 months...

Extremely uncomfortable wore to work a few times and threw away. Killed my feet, tried new insoles and various other things and they are just an extremely hard plastic that hurts both top and bottom of feet
