The XL fits, even with wide shoulders, but it is definitely a slim fitting shirt. It's not tight, but also not loose at all. It is very thin and works well as a layer under a hoodie or sweatshirt. It is also perfect for sun and arm scratch protection while working in the yard! I don't think it will be worn on a 90-degree day in the yard, but a cooler 60-80 degrees, it is totally comfortable and no sunburn or scratches!

FIT: I normally wear a medium (6' 0", 180 lbs) and ordered a medium. The fit was excellent. It was form-fitting without being tight. The shirt was long enough for my freakishly long torso. FEEL: Very comfortable. Very soft, nice, breathable fabric that can also serve as a good base layer. I got a lighter grey color and it works great for running, yardwork, etc outside on warm days. LOOK: Looks great. I should probably work out more so I look better in this. :) No complaints at all.

I ordered this compression shirt in a black 2XL. Upon arrival, it looks more like a US Large than a 2XL. I got it for my brother and he has quite the stomach so I'm not sure how the fit of this shirt is going to play out (laughing at the image conjured in my head).
