Only complaint they are a liitle narrow I ware 10.5 and like a bit wider toe box. They are slick on smooth floors when wet. They are Great in snow, very warm and waterproof.

My 3-star isn't for the quality of the item, as it looks great, materials seem top-notch, and the seaming is perfect. It's that this item is so stiff everywhere that it's not wearable. I get that a hiking boot needs some stiffness to the ankle shaft, but I've worn many a pair of hiking boots, and this one has no give at all. Where it meets your ankle doesn't give so there's a lot of rubbing through socks upon movement, and it seems like a prime place to snap the bone. It's THAT stiff. The arches are fine, I don't need much arch support, but the insoles aren't very cushy, would be rough to hike miles in these, so have your blister tape handy. The last issue is grip. The treads are really nice, but they are a somewhat harder material than you'd find on the Salomon Contagrip soles, and for that reason, I bump down to 3 stars. Great-looking shoe if you don't need anything to flex at all. ... show more
