As others have said, the fit is excellent. Size 12 fits my size 12 feet. They are also great looking shoes. Out of the box, they were comfortable enough to wear at least for a couple of hours. After break in, should be perfect. The sole are substantial, confident they won’t slip in all but the worst conditions.

I wanted to like these boots, but they have some problems. I'll start with the positives. The leather looks great. I got the Dark Brown -- 669's. The color and look is excellent. The inner and outsole are very comfortable. The toe box is appropriately supportive. The tread is great--aggressive--but low-profile enough to wear at the office. Now my issues: one of the boots is missing the pull-tab on the front of the boot. it looks like the assembler forgot to put it on because nothing is torn or damaged. That, on its own, makes the boots awkward to wear. Also, they're too loose. I have played with different sizes of boots made by this company, and I am pretty confident in my sizing. These are not too long--they're too loose--like the last form was too big, or the boots were stretched. They feel reasonably secure around the toes, but I can shake my foot and the boots feel like they will fly off. The ankle is way too wide, as well. Chukkas are meant to flex more at the ankle for a more casual experience wearing them, and taking them on and off. However, these are too loose, so instead of feeling supported by the elastic sides, they feel like rain boots. I don't like wearing them. Overall, I think you get what you pay for. If you typically order boots a half size larger, then consider ordering these right at your minimum size and see how they work. These are a great option for big guys. The materials are right, and the designs are great. For around $80, these are surprisingly excellent. However, the company has to work out some kinks and correct some problems. If they improve quality control and the fit of their chukka boots, I think they could be a real contender at this price point. Honestly, if they had fit better and weren't missing that pull tab I would love them. For now, I'll stick with my Deer Stags.

The boots look very nice for color, they do run a little on the large size. And the foot bed lines are a little thin but we just brought in store liners and that took care of both problems. And now my husband loves them. And for the price we were still ahead.
