Excellent for beginners! The ability to control the speed so closely is fantastic. However, the sanding bands that they send with it are extremely rough. They shouldn’t be used for anything other than debunking acrylics. I used them on my gel polish and was lucky I have experience with dremels as they tore through the gel aggressively. I even made my cuticles bleed which is something I haven’t done in years. When you go to buy different sanding bands, look for a very high grit, the higher the grit, the gentler the sanding. Just like when buying sand paper. Definitely go low and slow while first trying all the bits. There are a ton of tutorials to teach you how to use each of the different ones. The small round ball bit is my favorite for around my cuticles and side walls. When used at 12,000RPMs (level 12 on the display screen), it gently removes dry skin from the nail and makes it very easy to smooth down dead skin on the sides that could become a hang nail. The heat level is dependent on the speed and how long you hold the bit in any specific place. If it feels hot, slow the speed and use quicker motions when working on that area. I am so impressed with this product. It’s so easy to handle, it’s very stylish in appearance, and it’s relatively quiet. Being cordless makes it easy to store it anywhere. It’s the perfect size and I love the easy Forward and Reverse button on the side. This allows me to easily change the direction the bit is spinning so I can rotate my nail however I need to and I don’t have to turn off the drill before switching. Super happy with it. And I cannot believe it was so inexpensive.

This nail drill works perfectly! It’s powerful but also very smooth, making it easy to shape, file, and remove gel or acrylic without damaging the nails. I' a profession nail tech for 32 years now. I went from using a very expensive nail drill I'd had for nearly 20 yrs to this and let me just say I am NOT disappointed! I am quite shocked at how much I love this drill! It works quietly and smoothly. It has great power. It also has a comfortable hand piece. The charge lasts long between charging times. Very pleased. The price is an added bonus. Get this drill it does the job and does it well!

I picked up the MelodySusie Professional Rechargeable E-file because I wanted something lightweight and cordless for my nail practice at home, and this one did not disappoint. The rechargeable battery lasts a good while—usually a couple of hours on a full charge, which is perfect for my sessions. It’s surprisingly powerful for a cordless tool, handling acrylic and gel nails without bogging down. What I really like is how easy it is to hold—comfortable grip and not too heavy, which makes working on nails less tiring. Plus, the speed control lets me adjust how fast it spins, which is handy depending on what I’m doing. The only downside is the charging cable is a bit short, so you need to plan where you use it carefully. Also, it takes a bit to get used to the noise, but it’s quieter than some of the wired models I’ve tried. Overall, for the price and convenience of being rechargeable, this e-file is a solid choice for beginners and hobbyists. this is a very high quality nail drill! i love it. this is worth the money, i’ve had other more expensive nail drills that match the quality of this one. my only issue is that it doesn’t remember that i only keep it in reverse because i’m a righty, otherwise i have no complaints and that’s a small inconvenience i can look past since this drill is so reliable. it goes to 30rpm and i haven’t had issues of it being weak. i love that it’s easy to hold too. buy it, you won’t regret it- that’s coming from a nail tech.

This is a great nail drill for beginners! You definitely still have to be careful with it, but it’s super easy to figure out and comes with all the bits you need. I would recommend buying a smaller grit band attachment, though. Love that it comes in different colors! The battery also lasts a LONG time.

I used this e-file for the first time today and it is absolutely amazing. It has surpassed every expectation I had. It has zero vibration, it is quiet, very easy to use/user friendly, has a twist to lock feature for the bits, it came fully charged, so affordable for the quality, the feeling in my hand feels natural, etc., etc. I am very happy with the power of the file. It was nice that it also came with some bits including sanding bands and a mandril. MelodySusie does it again.... also has a warranty!
