are these brushes, beginner friendly? Well, that depends I’ve been using acrylic for 4+ years and these brushes were difficult to work with. I don’t believe that these are 100% Kolinsky because I’ve used 100% Kolinsky brushes and they simply perform much better. acrylic kept getting stuck in the brush and with my 100% Kolinsky brush that I normally use that literally never happens. The brushes were also oddly pointed, and it made it hard to pick up a round bead. I purchased these only because I left my good brush at the salon and wanted to do my nails that day and these were one of the few options for “100% Kolinsky“ brushes. 100% would not be my first choice. I love Melody Susie, but these brushes are not it. They do still get a 3 star rating though for the fact that technically they work and do what they need to do, but not to the ability of what a normal 100% Kolinsky brush should. still better than a nylon bristle brush or the ones you can get at Sally’s. I would go ahead and say that these are not beginner friendly if you’re a beginner looking for a good brush, just pay for a more expensive one because trust me it’s worth it. You will immediately notice it’s so much easier to work with! ... show more
