Well I started to getting sheets from this company last year. I've been very happy with how soft, breathable, keeping me cool, and durable their sheet sets have been. So when my husband and I got our 1st ever down comforter we found out really fast the we need a duvet as well lol. Abd after searching and searching I found out the Mellani had duvets I immediately knew I had to get 1. And let me tell yall IT IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! I was a bit worried about the quality bc I only paid $15, abd as we all know you pat for what you get. But this feels like it's a $100 duvet!! Don't hesitate getting any products from Mellani. Just get it. The duvet was easy to attach my down comforter to. The color is beautiful and soft yet vibrant. And it is unbelievably soft and cool.

First off, this is so soft. Both my husband I love that. The print is crisp and clear and it's just a really nice fabric over all. My only complaint is that it's huge! It is marketed for a king or cal king comforter, and I just have a king size, but typically it's not that much difference between a king and cal king. There is no way a cal king isn't swimming in this, too. The excess ended up being at he bottom of the comforter for me (and yes, I have it loaded in there correctly). So the excess at he bottom isn't necessarily a bad thing because it just gives more to tuck in to the bed so it stays in place. Honestly, that's probably a good thing. It does take a minute to figure out how to button it, but if you are going to tuck that excess in anyway, I wouldn't worry about it. Just button it and tuck. It has ties in each of the four corners to hold on to the comforter and I love that. The opening at the bottom is really big, almost the whole width, which I personally don't love, but probably not an issue for most. I didn't realize it came with 2 shams AND 2 pillow cases, so that was really nice. I didn't end up using either as they were, again, HUGE. There is no way my king size pillows will fit in these and look good, it's just too much space. My comforter is an IKEA comforter (so perhaps it's a bit smaller, although i've never had duvet covers be so big before), but pillows are standard king size from Target (or some similar flavor of store). For $25 you are getting a great duvet cover. The softness of the fabric is so, so nice.

I purchased this duvet cover because I don't like going to the laundromat to wash my quilts because they are too large for my washing matching. Purchased another duvet cover but that cover was not a king size so I gave it away because I had washed it. Washed the duvet as directed before using and it came out wrinkle free. I suggest ordering one size larger because it fits better. This king size duvet covered my king size quilt perfectly. It look really good on my bed. However, I did have some trouble finding the button closures. I don't know what the tie strings actually do. Another button would have solved the closure problem. At any rate, it fit so well and I am happy with it. Now I can use it with my summer/winter quilts and save a trip to the laundromat.

I had to go through a few orders of these before I had a set that didn't have stitching issue on the duvet, but for the cost I cannot complain. It's soft, it breaths well, and it looks nice.

UPDATE: upon posting my review customer service immediately reached out to me to apologize for the product arriving how it did and they sent me a replacement. It is rare these days to receive that level of customer service The packaging is typical of how a sheet set would be packaged when you buy it off the shelf at the store. No additional box to protect the product. The set I received appeared that it had traveled around the globe several times and every single corner of the packaging had a hole it in and the white set was smeared with what appeared to be a mixture of mud and oil. The duvet set itself is on the thinner side but is very soft. The embroidery is a nice touch on the pillow cases and make it appear pricier than it is.
