they come from china, so it's not european linen, but whatever. after shedding a lot of lint in the drier, which is what's supposed to happen, these sheets are very soft and comfortable, and they're both open enough to let in air, and closed enough to keep out the breeze from my fan. so i'm thinking maybe they'll be good for winter too. right now, they're just textured enough to keep me from feeling every single grain of dust on the bed, as is normal for me. so that's good. so now i'm a linen sheet convert. not having any experience with more expensive linen sheets, i'm happy as i can be with my very first try at linen for anything other than turning old tablecloths into dresses...

Why are you asking about wrinkles? All linen wrinkles! I think you shoot yourself in the 'ratings' foot with that question. These sheets are absolutely amazing!! I found that with just the sheets and no blankets, this summer, I was very comfortable with the temp control they offered. I've never had sheets like these before and will be buying more. Thank you for a great product!

I read the reviews and was a little concerned I would find these too scratchy and uncomfortable and as they pricier than the usual sheets I buy I was very hesitant. I got my shipment quickly but when I opened the box the first sheet on top, the fitted sheet, did not seem quite right, like it wasn't as folded and smoothly put in place as the remaining top sheet and cases underneath it and the wrapping paper was oddly torn. I wondered if it had been a return. It had a different feel from what I was used to and given all this I was tempted to immediately return it. I finally decided to go with it. I took out the fitted sheet, inspected it and then took all of them out of the box, wash them in cold water, hung them to dry and put them on my bed. I am so glad I decided to go with it, I now love them and don't think I could go back to regular cotton sheets again. I am trying to simplify my life with all white, wonderful sheets and toss all the old mismatched patterned stuff. I swear I am sleeping better in these sheets! They feel good on my body, breathable, lightweight but so satisfying to the touch. I will be replacing all my sheets, in time, with these dreamy linens. I say go for it!

I ordered these a couple months ago as a second set of linen sheets, to swap out with ones I ordered from Eastern Europe, after some extensive research on getting the best value for linen sheets. Since these are such a low cost, I figured I'd take the gamble. These sheets are softer and a bit thinner and are my favorites right now for sure. I can see how some may think these sheets are rough, especially compared to bamboo or satin-y types of sheets, but they are awesome for us. We've washed (and dried) them three times and so far so good. For the dryer, there is some contradictory info where one part says to line dry and then another says we can, indeed, machine dry them. I figured I'd dry them on "extra low" and that it'd be fine. So far, so good. My only concern is longevity and I will update if I notice anything with regard to that. According to my research, the fitted sheet is where we'll likely see that appear initially! All in all, these were totally worth it and I prefer them to my Target 100% organic cotton sheets any day of the week!

Washed it before using; other reviews and product description mentioned washing more will increase softness. They were cool or breathable, but for that much money feeling rough as they did I kind of want my money back and get $50 dollar sheets that I have purchased and were instantly soft. I will wash and keep trying to test this “softer with every wash” theory but so far I’m not convinced, especially with how much fabric softener I accidentally poured in the wash for the sheets

I unfortunately the fitted sheet died after 6 months. The sheets lost so much mass with each wash and the fitted sheet wore thin and developed a hole near the foot of the bed. They never did fit quite right on our 15in deep mattress... I am greatful further introduction to real linen sheets but can nolonger recommend this set. Origonal: I am a hot sleeper, don't care for cotton sheets, and rayon is just a miserable material. These were the answer. I've been sleeping so well since switching over, and am planning on buying more. These don't absorb atmospheric moisture like rayon (see modal or bamboo and so on), and keep the bed at a nice comfortable temperature, they're breathable enough for warm weather while retaining just the right amount of warmth for winter.. My only complaint is the lack of color options, but that's nothing a few bottles of dye cant fix. One warning, Do not be alarmed by the amount of lint generated on the first wash... that's pretty common for natural fiber anything. (Sadly this trend never stopped)
