These shoes are unbelievably comfortable right out of the box, and so cute and stylish. They have exceeded my expectations in every way. Even the fragrance itself brings me a lot of joy because it smells like how toys smelled in the 1980s so it's a blast back to the best parts of my childhood. That said, the fragrance is STRONG. Like, fills the room strong. I have to keep them in my home office because there's no way I could sleep with these in my bedroom or sit there all day in my living room smelling it. The smell itself is great, but any fragrance needs to be in small doses, not stinking up the whole house. I'm extremely sensitive to fragrances, and was nervous about that with these. The fact that the sandals' scent hasn't triggered a migraine is uncharacteristic. I feel this makes them inaccessible because not everyone can be around strong fragrances like this. Is it really so necessary that it can't be made without it? I'm sure that would make a lot of people happy, people who can't otherwise buy these shoes because the fragrance makes them sick. I wonder how many office feuds have been started by someone wearing these to work and giving their coworkers headaches. They're shoes. They don't need to smell like 1987 My Lil Ponies, even if it does smell good at first.

Straight out of the box, they’re the comfiest sandals. This is my second pair, and I haven’t had to break in either pairs. There’s no rubbing blisters or anything. They’re super cute and are scented, to boot!

I have an insanely hard time time buying shoes every season. I wear a size 11.5 or 12 for length but my feet are also WIDE. So even in the rare chance a cute shoe company sells my size, I can't get my foot in the shoe because of the width. I didn't think Melissa sold extended sizes but I guess they just do on Amazon. I'm soooo glad I tried these! I tried them on with and without socks and they fit great. My foot isn't stretching the shoes in any way. Just nestled in like a normal foot 🥹. The shoe is comfortable. The soles are cushioned so they won't rub. Now the pair I got did smell like "peppermint flea spray". But IDC about that.
