The media could not be loaded. I bough this for my 4 year old for Christmas and she LOVES it. Great quality, easy to use, and fun to play with. The only thing I don’t love is that you have to open up the back to put the play food inside. I wish it opened from the front. It would definitely be easier that way. I would also not put this high up anywhere because it can tip kind of easily. Especially if they are trying to put products in the back. So just be aware of that. So if they are playing on the counter or table with it, it might be better to move it on the floor or they are little. I have kids from 4 to 10 years old and they all enjoy playing with it. The media could not be loaded. My kids absolutely love playing with it. The quality is excellent, as you'd expect from Melissa & Doug – it's sturdy and well-made, able to withstand enthusiastic play. It’s about 18” tall, 15” wide and about 6” deep. Not very heavy, light enough for your child to carry themselves. I appreciate how this toy encourages interactive play. Kids get to practice sorting, matching colors, and even some basic counting skills. Loading the machine and then "buying" snacks with the play coins adds a realistic touch that they really enjoy. It's a great way to encourage imaginative role-play and social interaction, especially when they play together. You can even add alternative snacks and toys to change it up! Another big plus is that it's screen-free entertainment! In a world filled with digital distractions, it's refreshing to see my kids engaged in such a creative and hands-on activity. Cleanup is a breeze too, as all the pieces store neatly within the machine. Highly recommend this toy for any family with young children!     • Great gift for kids.
Got this for my Grandson for Christmas, he loved it. It comes mostly assembled and seems to be very durable. Its not to big but a nice size for him to play with. The wooden pieces that come along with it are cute and resemble snacks for the vending machine.

    • Cute and fun but easily knocked over
This is very well made and is very cute. Kids can not only “buy” snacks but practice matching numbers, letters and colors while they shop. They could also have fun stocking the machine with the cute items that come with it. You can also put real snacks in there as long as there are small enough. Overall good product and my 2 yr old grandchild really had fun. A few things I don’t like: you get toy coins, as well as a toy credit card to use for payment. The credit card is ridiculously hard to put in, and that was a source of frustration for my grandchild. Also, I feel that there should be feet on the bottom of it to make it more stable. It could easily be pushed over and I’d be concerned about it hitting somebody or hurting someone because it is made of wood so it’s kind of heavy. ... show more

Got this on sale it’s very great to keep kids entertained. I can see why everyone loves this great quality and it’s also really good when you improvise and put snacks on it for rewards it really does help especially for a Montessori type playroom.

Pros -sturdy and built well (it is heavy) -easy to use -diverse items to choose from -can put your own small items in Cons -coins are not the easiest to put in. I have had fun playing with my daughters. They like that they can put their own items in. The only thing that would make it better is having a key to open the back door. I feel the dropped the ball on not adding that to the design. ... show more

My boy (3) just had to have it, he was obsessed both before getting it and after. He loves it, his sister (4) loves it! The first one came damaged, I called Amazon and had a new one the next day! It was easy to assemble and it’s held up rather well considering how rough my son is with toys. The size is perfect for the kids. My only real concern with it has been worrying about someone getting mad and throwing it at someone else (thankfully hasn’t happened yet). Oh, but the price point… wild!
