Looks cute overall. Assembly is fairly quick and easy. Took me about 10 minutes to finish. But got a couple of plywood chipped. And some holes and nuts don’t fit. Don’t feel like it is worth the price. I’d rather stick with the old version.

I love this little cleaning set, however there is definitely room for improvement. The broom and mop are very flimsy. They come apart often where the two wooden areas met with the white plastic that holds them together. Other than that, my son loves to play with it. My daughter loves it. Comes with everything you need to pretend clean also because of the material and cloth used for the brooms, spray bottle and mop your child can actually help clean! As far as the job they do that is questionable lol but they can really help!

I think this is a great idea for a kids play set. I’m just not sure how many can realistically afford to pay the asking price for kids cleaning supplies.     • Great product but I have to disagree a bit with the pricing
Melissa and Doug products rarely disappoint. And this isn't an except there. I know they are a more premium quality brand of kids toys and while I love this set, I think the price is steep for what you're getting. Real quick - in contrast my wife has bought a similar broom and mop from Target (don't recall brand) for $3 each. Those impostors were I think a plastic handle vs the nice light wood of these pieces and the stand. This set does assemble pretty easy. The stand goes together quick and the 3 longer items (broom, dust pan and dry mop) have minimal assembly where the handles are each 2 pieces linked together with a plastic clip. The result is something well suited for our 2 y/o twins once you try and train them to not weaponize these. The duster and other accessories are fun and I appreciate how the spray bottle offers an on/off nozzle tip in case you do decide to put some water or other liquid in it. Looking at this set, I don't think kids would really flock to this over the cheaper broom and mop we have at home so again, the price seems steep and for no scientific or mathematical reason, I would think $40-$45 should be the price ceiling for this set. I just couldn't give it all 5-stars at the selling price but otherwise this is a great product that many kids would love to play with and setup is simple. Oh and I appreciate how the mop's cover is removable and can be washed. It was legitimately collecting some dirt and dust from our hardwood floors. Especially when they try and mop while I'm sweeping meal crumbs off the floor and they are trying to help clean up. ... show more

I think this is a really cute set but I’m taking a star off for durability. If you have a child that is very careful with their items, this is fine, but if your child is a little rougher or clumsy with dropping things, then some of the items or the holder may not hold up so well. It was really easy to assemble. I love how many items are included and that the holder has a place for them all to stay organized. They have cute colors but don’t look overwhelmingly bright. The activity card is a cute extra to learn about a routine and to do lists. I think the price is pretty high though for the set. ... show more
