as a woman building this by herself it was pretty easy and only took me 2 hours because i had to redo the metal pieces that open it the instructions weren’t super clear on what way they faced and it is the hardest part.

And to think I almost paid twice as much on a different site for something similar. I'm gentle with it --I think there is potential to mess it up, but... just treat it gingerly. Feels pretty darn sturdy though. Now, if I could find one that opens in both directions I'd really be happy. lol I love being able to open it up toward me, to work from the couch... but it would also be cool to be able to open it the other way for easy access. OR I could just not be lazy and get up and walk around the thing I suppose. ... show more

All four legs are inadequately mounted. After a couple of months of use, they became loose and eventually fell off. I tried to remedy the issue by using new screws that ran deeper into the leg but they worked loose as well. I live alone and did not beat on it. The reasons why I gave it a 4-start, not a 5-star review are 1) it is not easy to assemble, and 2) part of the bottom was damaged when I was assembling it because of a defective design.
