AMAZING AMAZON GREEN!!! As you can see, I have dark skin, so I needed a full coverage body paint. I plan to use this for Halloween to cover my arms, hands, face, and neck. I researched how to apply this paint, and found that stippling with a sea silk sponge works best. FYI... all the pics are the same color in different light at different times of the day/night. APPLICATION: To apply, I used Constantia Beauty Natural Sea Silk Sponges for Cosmetic Use, 1.5 - 3-Inches, Pack of 12 . I soaked the sponge in a bowl of water for one minute, then squeezed most of the water out. I then rubbed the sponge across the paint palette, working up a little bit of paste. After that, I stippled (dabbed) the paint on my arm. It applied at 60% coverage at first, and I went over it again to get 100% before it fully dried. Once it dried after a few minutes, I dusted on Mehron Setting Powder -Neutral,1 Oz(28 g) and the body paint was set. It matted beautifully. To prime my face, I used a facial toner spray and lotion moisturizer to prevent staining. Once I was done with application, I let the palette air dry before putting the lid back on. I also cleaned the silk sponge with soap and rinsed it out with warm water. They are reusable & worth the investment. After wearing the paint for an hour, it did not crack or flake off. It wears like full coverage foundation, and also transfers much the same - not a whole lot, but you run the risk of leaving admirers tainted green with envy. I recommend air kisses only. :-) REMOVAL: I ran my arm under warm water and 80% washed right off. Because of this, I recommend carrying latex gloves for bathroom trips if you paint your hands. The rest washed off with regular soap and cloth. With my skin tone, there was minimal staining, most noticeable on my palms. Mehron also sells a barrier spray to use before makeup application. In the hour I wore the paint, there was no reaction on my sensitive skin. So far, I'm in love with this body paint! The smell is nice for a body paint, and the formula keeps your skin moist. Because it is water-based, I wouldn't recommend it if you're going to be in the heat or dancing. It's definitely not rain proof! Stay cool and dry! ... show more

Before using Mehron Paradise Paints I was only familiar with oil-based stage makeups instead of water-based. I like these much more. I used this along with another green for my Elphaba makeup. It's important that you have the proper sponge (a friend recommended a round Kryolan sponge that has worked better than any brush, sponge, or other applicator for this product for me). It's also important that you powder (you can use baby powder or translucent powder, etc) in between certain steps. Finally, it's ESSENTIAL you use a type of sealer, to prevent cracking, rubbing off, etc - the best I've found is Ben Nye "Final Seal". This will help with the nose creases, undereyes, areas that makeup often rubs off in. The powder and the sealer are really needed for this product to work at its top performance! It felt lighter than oil-based makeups, did not rub off or transfer, yet still came off relatively easy. (It needs a bit of scrubbing for the hairline area or areas where you have dry skin). Very happy with my purchase and I'll be using this in the future for all special effects. I have sensitive skin and it was fine -- my friend who I used it on is often allergic to certain makeups but she was just fine too. It has a very light coconut scent. Wonderful product! ... show more

This was my first time using this product and a first attempt at Avatar inspired makeup. I was amazed at how well it covered my darker skin. It didn't transfer on my hair or clothing and I didn't use any kind of setting spray or powder. Granted, I didn't leave my house or worked up a sweat, but I wore it for about 6 hours and it looked as good as when I put it on. I had to layer twice for full coverage but this product will obviously last for many many applications. I am beyond impressed and about to order more colors!! Oh and it washed off extremely easily, no staining either! Great product! ... show more

This is the first time I had tried to use a water activated face paint and I will never go back to disgusting grease paint again. The black was so dark and easy to paint with it was unreal. It also stayed on all night, through trick or treating for 5 hours! The best part - it washed off quickly and easily with a little bit of soap and water. I could have never achieved this look with grease paint, because it runs together and just doesn't stay put like you want it too... With this paint, I was able to place the black on a white base and it didn't bleed together at all. Just make sure you let the other colors dry perfectly before you put the black on top. I even painted my hands with the black and a sponge and it looked spectacular. I received compliments all night, and scared more than one little kiddie. Uploading a couple of pictures so you can see how the coverage is spectacular. Also, I did my face twice, once for a trial run and once for the actual night out, and my husband's face once and there is still enough product to last us another two or three years. I bought this for an Ursula costume and it worked great. I used it over a grey base to get the shade that I wanted. It is really easy to apply and I set it with powder and then a setting spray. I knew with being in the heat it wouldn't last as long as something waterproof or latex. We walked for a few hours in the sun and heat and it held up much better than I expected. It is water based so if you sweat or have rubbing on the area where you have the make up you'll lose some coverage. After a few hours I lost some of the makeup on my neck and where I had my necklace laying but nowhere near as much as I expected. Best part about being water based is it was so easy to take off, which is really great if you're using it for a large part of your body. I highly recommend it. ... show more
