I fix up boats as a hobby and this always gets the oxidation off the gelcoat and makes the hull look new.

  • Blown away how good it works!!!!
Size: 32 Ounce
This product completely blew me away. I figured there’d be no saving on the paint in the pics so I figured let’s give it a shot. Not like it could get any worse. I used it on heavily damaged single stage paint applied with a rotary buffer and a wool pad. I worked the compound in on speed 3 with very light pressure and couldn’t believe what I saw once I wiped off the remaining residue with a microfiber cloth.I couldn’t believe what I saw!! I highly recommend trying this on paint you think is far too gone. The product also works fantastic on newly painted wet sanded panels. It’s worth every penny!!! ... show more

  • Hands down the best at removing sanding haze!
Size: 32 Ounce
If you're looking for a product that works will with 3M pads, costs much less than the over-hyped European counterparts and removes the haze left from sanding, this is it! This is the only product I've found that removes 100% of the haze with only a few passes and works well as a 1-step polish. For my use, I'm using it to remove the haze left by 3M's Trizact 1500 then 3000 pads and with their white compounding pad. I first tried Sonax's Cutmax, which is a step below M105. Both of those products only get rid of ~75% of the haze after sanding. I also tried Menzerna's Super Heavy Cut 300 compound and that gets rid of about 90-95% of the haze after several passes with a good amount of pressure. Haze was still visible when inspecting under direct light, especially on curved panels where heavy pressure or high buffing speed is dangerous. With Meguiar's M100, I can do about 2 quick passes at medium speed and all the haze is gone, leaving a finish that's good enough to call 'show car' quality. The M100 also worked great on plastic bumpers at a low speed where using the other product made no noticeable difference. This will definitely by my go to compound going forward! That said, this compound might be too aggressive for doing a light correction for swirls or car wash scratches. If you use this as an all-in-one compound for light correction work, I'd recommend a less aggressive pad and low pressure. ... show more

  • A cut above the rest!
Size: 32 Ounce
My wife and I own a high end detail shop and one of our services is paint correction. We never know what may come through our doors, my 2015 Ford F-150 being one of them. I bought the truck used, perfect condition except for the paint, I knew the paint was bad when buying it thinking no big deal. Well, I tried my compounds that we have, one being my m105, it was working but took many section passes, dusting was a big problem so I bought the m100 which I never used in my 30 years in detailing. Just wow, less dusting, blue in color so you know. The work time is longer, wipes off as easy as a wax, that part really blew me away being how much cut it has. Still had to make three section passes because the branch scratches were deep but it corrected them. Forgot to say, when I was using the m105 I had to wet some but not with the m100. Leaves the paint with a gloss. Used my Rupes Mark II 15 along with Meguairs Microfiber Cutting pads. Followed using the m205 but could have skipped because it left the paint last step ready but I wanted to do it correctly. No more m105 going forward. ... show more

  • Would highly recommend this product for minor scratches it works very well
Size: 32 Ounce
Tried this product on my work van, and was very impressed how it was able to remove minor scratches even a few semi deep scratches. Would highly recommend this product for minor scratches it works very well. I bought Meguiar's G3500 DA power system tool and incorporated it with my detailing and it worked really well. For best results use all three components the compound the M100 mirror Glaze Pro Speed, then use Meguiar's M205 Mirror Glaze Ultra Finishing, finally a good car wax. Its a lot of work, but its worth it cause it leaves your car looking all most new, so called mirror shine. Oh almost forgot in between applications make sure you buff really well, and constantly replace cotton polishing pads on your buffing machine. I have a 2012 Nissan NV HighTop 2500 it took me over a 3 day period to do both sides back and the hood, still haven't done the roof of van. Probably 15 hours over that 3 day period. In essence your waxing your vehicle 3 times with the 3 different components removing and buffing in between applications, that's why it takes so long to do. Hope this has been helpful. ... show more

  • Great with DA Polisher - Improvement over Ultra-Cut Compound 105
Size: 32 Ounce
Decided to use this instead of my normal Meguiar's Ultra-Cut Compount 105. I've been using 105 for years as part of a 3-step process with a Porter Cable DA Polisher ( PORTER-CABLE 7424XP 6-Inch Variable-Speed Polisher ). I use SPTA 6inch 150mm Buff Pad Polishing Pad kit For Car Polisher Pack of 5Pcs . Here are my steps: 1. Ultra-Cut Compound 105. Orange SPTA pad. 2. Ultra-finishing Polish 205. Blue SPTA pad. 3. Synthetic Sealant 2.0. Black SPTA pad. This has more cutting power than 105 but I did not notice aggressive cutting as other reviewers. It also does not have powder residue like 105. I made two passes on my hood (2yr old car) and noticed improved performance. After two passes with M100, 1 pass with 205 and 1 pass with Sealant 2.0, I still had a few micro-scratches in the clear coat but fewer than I've noticed while using 105 after just two passes. Bottom line - I recommend M100 over 105. More cutting power than 105 but not super-aggressive. No powder residue. ... show more

  • Pretty much an all-in-one compound eliminating the need for polish
Size: 1 Gallon
Been in the auto repair business for over 13 years and to be honest I hate having to cut and buff because it's so time consuming and tedious work but out of all the products I've used over the years this is by far the only product that I come across that will literally cuts my time in half and actually makes me look forward to cutting and buffing this product is well worth it and is in my opinion the only product that makes buffing seem effortless ... show more
