The quality is great, but this product was not designed for the A7iii. you can make it work and it wont be terrible, but if you are looking for a 100% perfect fit this might not be the ideal product for you. I ended up returning mine, but I have nothing negative to say about how the product was made, the quality of the material, customer service, or how it was shipped.

Fits well on my Sony A9, and will provide better protection from wear on the lower edges of the camera. Easy access to the battery compartment. Looks nice and is actually genuine leather. It came with a nice leather strap. For the price, a very good fit and well designed. The only reason I gave 4 stars versus 5 is the depth of the tripod bolt. It has a short depth and therefore it doesn’t tighten completely and leaves the camera fit on a tripod or Ascent strap/wrist strap loose and wobbly. I was able to add a small inexpensive metal washer between the bottom of the camera so the fit is tight. That was a quick fix and I will switch to a rubber washer and glue it to the bottom of the case so it won’t fall off when swithing tripods or straps that connect to the bottom tripod mount. Again, for the price, well worth the inexpensive fix.

Works well to protect the base of my camera body. Also, gives me a little more area and surface to grip on to the camera when I have a big telephoto lens on it. The leather base makes it easier to rest on different surfaces as well.

Not able to take lens off the lens. The leather does not fit the contour of the finger grip. I comes out to far and is not even close to the camera hand grip. Look at images sent.

Because the A7III is a relatively new camera body, there aren’t many accessories out for it yet, especially half-body cases. Not only was the price right, the case fits my camera like a glove and gives me piece of mind knowing that it’s protected from small nicks and scrapes that are common for cameras during everyday normal use.

It looks great and has worn nicely over the past few months. Seems quite durable, and the fit is almost perfect. It makes the camera just a bit taller, which is quite welcome as it gives me much more grip. The only small complaint I have is the the cutout for the battery door is very tight. It takes a little wiggle to get it open each time and can be a bit of a hassle. That begin said, if that's the worst of it, id say its doing pretty well.
