However, with what I spent for the camera and the other "must-have" accessories I gave this one a try and am very satisfied. I have no idea what country it came from but it does seem to be well made with all the snaps firmly attaching and just well-fitting/looking overall. Absolutely dig this case. It looks sharp and feels very nice. Fits my X100V quite well and is fairly snug. It is perfect for travel as it protects my camera in a suitcase, backpack, or around my neck. I love how I can charge my camera with the case on. Only down side with this case is that when I shoot, the case falls off the camera. The way the case is designed, when you unclip the lens portion, the entire casing falls off if you are not holding the camera from the bottom. Being a manual shooter, I need two hands to shoot, and thats really hard to while keeping the case on. ... show more

We both really liked it because it protects such a special and expensive camera, but it doesn’t take away from the slim design of the Fujifilm camera. The strap is comfortable adjustable.     • Looks good, but functionality is an issue.

The case looks good on my camera, but is not functional. I wanted a retro look to my camera set up, so I purchased this because it looks like it would have everything I need. The strap would be great to have my hands free, the lens and screen cover would keep it protected, and the bottom piece ties it all together. The problem is this is not executed well with this product. The strap has disconnected from both sides of my camera at different times, which fortunately did not result in my camera being dropped. The upper lens/screen cover completely comes off, so you need to have a bag or somewhere to stow it while you want to use your camera. The bottom piece screws into the bottom of the camera and it has fallen off more times than I can count; so much so that I nearly lost it while walking around with my camera around my neck. TLDR; If you want a case that looks good but you'll be constantly worrying it will fall apart, get this case. ... show more

The top cover does not fit well since I installed a lens protector on the camera. However, I have continued to use the bottom potion of the Case. Although now the Case doesn't provide protection to the upper half of the camera, at least the bottom half is covered. On the positive, it looks and feels good. The Case is well made (durable).
