However, with what I spent for the camera and the other "must-have" accessories I gave this one a try and am very satisfied. I have no idea what country it came from but it does seem to be well made with all the snaps firmly attaching and just well-fitting/looking overall. Top notch build quality and fits snug against a completely stock X100V. My camera has a soft shutter release button, thumb grip and filter installed which render the case unusable. I wouldn’t consider this a flaw but something to keep in mind when outfitting your camera gear.

The case goes over the camera very well, however if I take the top part off (i.e. the part that covers the lens,) a) I have to take it completely off as b) it folds backwards and not forward and once I snap that off, there is nothing holding the bottom on. Soooo, the leather is great, it will protect the camera while on, BUT if you are out and about actively using the cameral, then I have to take it all off which defeats the purpose. ... show more

It was snug with the bare bones camera but then adding the lens components made it not fit and potentially damadge the camera when squeezed in (thses are components you don't want to remove every time you use the case).
