Change eartips as shown and make sure they are installed securely before use. Step 1: Adjust each earpiece until it fits flush in your ear and the eartips seals the ear canal, then bend the memory wire around your ear to achieve a conforming fit Step 2: While holding the earpiece in place, pull the cable behind your ear until the fit is tight and secure. Repeat for the other ear. Step 3: Use the cable cinch and shirt clip to help control cable movement The MX PRO includes two interchangeable cables. To remove the cable, grasp the earpiece and cable connector firmly and pull straight apart without twisting. Attach the new cable by lining up the notches on the connector with the grooves in the corresponding earpiece. Push connectors in until they fit securely. First off, I'm not a fan of ear buds. Normally if they are included with something I buy, I toss them because they are too uncomfortable. I own the Philips X2HR over ear, and really like them. At work, I listen to music during lunch, which led me to these. At first, I was afraid I was going to have to return them because the highs were so harsh. After a little more listening using my computer and receiver, they cleared up nicely. I've never experienced that before. I guess they had to break in. As far as comfort, I still prefer over ear headphones, but they aren't the best for carrying around. I wouldn't mind getting a better cable, but this one is proprietary, so there aren't many options. ... show more

Quality Sound and Balanced: I love my MX1 in-ear for Keyboard monitoring. I was hesitant about getting the MEE Brand especially the MX1 Pros due to the reviews of the M6 Pros. As a keyboard player, I saw that most of the reviews were from other band members (e.g., bass player, guitarist and vocalist) and was drawn to MX1 because of the option and ability to only have one in-ear monitor. In comparison, all the other in-ear monitors had two in-ear buds allowing issues with hearing the environment and personal performance ( only having one in ear bud in my ear using mono) experiences. This flexibility is amazing and the sound quality opens you up to the natural sounds on stage through in-ear and the monitor response. It is a game changer and recommend to all keyboard players with a personal mixer on stage. I can not speak for any other band member and their experience, but I found the solution in having only one in-ear monitor (your personal sound) without compromising the overall listening environment and feeling of the audience (with the other ear open). ... show more

First set of in-ears. Until I figured out the right ear tips, I thought these were nice enough. Flat and balanced, but just a bit thinner on the bass than I expected, even for a flat response. But I suspected the weak low end was because I couldn't get a good fit in my ears. My ear canal is apparently pretty small, so the latex tips with the double flange worked the best. With those, the isolation is really good and the bass comes across as solid and punchy. Not too thin at all. I've been told clarity and isolation are the main things to look for, and that multiple drivers make a big difference, but I wasn't sold on anything in this price range with more than one driver. And it turns out I can't imagine needing much more clarity than these provide and the isolation with the right tips is very good. Extra cable included, plenty of ear tip options, nice case. Everything is there. Seem like a quality product that does what it needs to at a good price. ... show more

I bought my first ear pods from MEE in 2011 and haven't looked back since. I started out with the M6P in ear and moved through many upgrades; most of which are still in my rotation today. These MX-PRO MX1's are exceptional. They have much more bass and presence than my M-6's and a great fit, especially with the included Comply foam ear tips. I have found the MEE people to be honest and very willing to help with any questions or support. I highly recommend them. ... show more

First of all, these aren't universal fit. Myself and friends have tried them, none of us found them particularly comfortable. The cable rattles and interferes with sound. And the sound itself is garbage for $60 monitors. Stock iPhone earbuds sound better, last longer, and are somehow more comfortable than these. The included case is inconvenient and cramped, the zipper barely works, and the spare cables are meaningless when they're already rattly and useless to begin with. Most importantly, they self destructed after a few weeks. The included "memory foam" ear tip fused itself to the right bud, and came off in pieces. On the other hand, if you're looking to throw away $60, I would highly recommend these! ... show more

First off. the sound through these ear monitors is terrific. Second, based on years of experience, they look like they will last a long time. The cable that comes with the monitors is really sturdy. But in spite of the fact that they are so good, a second replacement cable is included in the package. I use them twice a week for an hour at a time. These are OK, but the bass is generally too thin. If I were going to buy another pair I'd try the MX-2 instead because they are supposed to have more bass. I use only the memory foam pads. The silicone pads don't seal at all. The sound quality really depends a lot on exactly how tightly they fit and make a seal in your ears. I find that even when I smile or open my mouth while listening, my ear canal changes shape slightly and the amount of bass varies dramatically. If you get them inserted properly with a good seal you get a good sound and some external noise blocking, but even then I always wish for a little more bass. ... show more
