I recently purchased a 202& F-350 for a new work truck. The new keyless entry is a cool option but stressful with my line of work to protecting the fob. This Heavy Fob is the most ideal situation for someone wanting full protecting for their expensive key fob. The protection will last anything. Long drops or hard blows to this cover won't even stretch it. The color is awesome for a slick look. The weight is on the heavy side but that's what you get when wanting the optimal protection. The feel of the buttons is nice and they work phenomenal. I highly recommend this fob for anyone wanting the optimal protection for a great value.

The Fob cover is great. I heard proximity handle locks don’t work but mine work fine. So far it looks and feels great. It is rugged built and weighty but not obtrusive or an anchor. The leather key chain connector is fine but anybody with a knife can cut those off in a second. This is a really well built item. They send 2 screw drivers and extra screws. I went to my bench with better screwdriver and got surprisingly more turn than I could get with their little supplied screwdriver on frame locking screws. I suspect these need to be watched for loosening. It gets a 5* because it’s really nice to look at.

Very cool key fob cover. Easy to assemble. Nice solid feel, relatively heavy for it’s size. That’s not really a negative in my estimation. Just something to keep in mind. No issue with proximity handle locks at all. Only real complaint is that it is NOT glow in the dark as claimed, which is okay. Not really why I purchased item. I purchased it because it looks cool AF tbh. Definitely recommended.

Dec 22, 2025 Keyfob protector for a 2022 Ford F250, Lariat. This came in a box with plastic wrap. Inside was the protector with, the insert cover, a screw driver, and a couple extra screws. Also was the leather strap for the bottom. It also had a small screw driver with it. I wasn't expecting this thing to be as heavy duty as it is. There are no directions that come with this, but it's fairly straight forward. You can use the box lid to remove the four screw in the main fob so the screws don't fall on the ground. Once those are removed you place your key into the protector, place the protective cover over the fob keys, and then you put the top part of the protector on. Squeeze it and put the screws back in and tighten well. The leather strap at the bottom has a screw to remove the strap from the insert. !! Be aware !! The leather strap secures inside around a tiny piece of metal. The hole in the strap goes over the metal insert nipple. So once taken out, you push the strap through the bottom of the protector. Secure the strap over the nipple of the metal piece, and insert it back into the middle of the holder. Be sure to push it in all the way. Then you will put the screw back in to hold it in place. I really like the futuristic styling of this. It is extremely heavy for a protector. I don't mind that at all personally. I tested all of my buttons, and they all worked properly. Very much worth the $17ish spent. If anything changes, I will update the review.
