    • Very nice, good quality materials but not perfect
Assembly was simple, with clear instruction. Solid wood construction, with nice finish as pictured. The only complicated part was trying to align the doors, which do not align perfectly, even with all the available adjustment on the hinges. They overlap about a millimeter over the glass edge of the fireplace. Will need some felt pads on the corners; (not supplied). Only other critiques is the cabinets are a bit too shallow for my tuner and they weren't designed with that in mind; (No cable pass through). Simple solution though. Fireplace looks like every other modern fake fire, and does provide ample heat, though not required for my purposes. ... show more

I’m pretty good with DIY projects and I had a little difficulty with it. But I might say, This is an amazing piece of furniture. Very pleased with how it came out.. just be patient and follow instructions.. came with extra parts just in case. Also it arrived in separate shipments so don’t panic.

The item came in two separate deliveries on separate days. The tv cabinet portion was delivered first followed by the fireplace. My husband who is extremely handy had a hard time assembling this item. I suggest if you are not handy be prepared to pay someone to put this piece together. Despite the expense of the piece and the frustration putting it together I would order it again. It’s made our living room so cozy and the place to be. We have gotten compliments. ... show more
