My German Shepherd loves Meaty Bones, I keep them on top of my refrigerator and she'll sit there in between the space that separates my dining room from my kitchen and sit there and just constantly look up at the meaty bones asking for one like five times a day if not more but she only gets two a day and they are the bones for large dogs. They are the best around, plus Milk Bones can you give your dog diarrhea if you feed them more than two bones a day and sometimes even less than that. I learned that from my past dogs that I had before I got this one, also my vet told me about the problem with Milk Bones feeding them just a couple of Bones to a dog. That is why I and her prefer meaty bones , over Milk Bones. ... show more

WOW!!!! This box is HUGE! The bones are medium length but about a half inch or so thick but they're also wide. I have a small old dog and a Husky. Usually my little one is choosey. She likes to guard or bury hers in a blanket or something. Then the Husky steals it when she turns her back so she comes back for another. That's a good sign. She does eat them eventually if she remembers where she hid them before it's gone. Also a good sign. These are not only well worth the money for the size and amount, but for the taste. They are plenty big enough for my Husky not to need two lol! This box has lasted quite a while for them, they get 1-6 a day total depending on the kleptomania. ... show more

I don't know why my dog doesn't seem to really like these, I thought he would and for some reason it makes me mad cuz they smell better and look better than all those other treats, okay this may be gross but I went so far as to kind of taste one a little bit and they didn't taste bad at all but for some reason he has never liked any kind of hard dog bones, unless it's a real bone or rawhide and I don't understand why. These smell so good and he likes the stinky ones. I want him to like these so bad, I don't know why but I just do. I mean he ate one but barely and slowly. I even broke some up and put in his food and he did eat them but he doesn't seem to prefer them at all. It just bugs me because I don't understand why. I would eat them if I was a dog. He just has never liked any kinds of bones like this, even other brands and I have no clue why because I wish he did because you can buy a GIANT bag of these for like six bucks and that would save me alot of money. I get the baked-in meaty flavor medium size biscuits. I've got a pit mix and a little chihuahua mix. They just love their Biscuits treats! My little one loves to tease her big brother with hers. He gobbles his up, but she likes to carry hers around to show it off. Then she puts hers down near him, backs away from it a couple of inches, and then growls at him to try to get him to come TRY to take it from her. But he knows better.
