I tested the gauge on an air compressor and seem to be accurate. Ophis is very small less then a 1/16 and wanted it to be 1/8 inch. Tried to remove fitting and ruined the gauge. FYI Fitting is not removable! Not certain why the hole is so small but I feel that could easily get blocked up. I drilled out the ruined gauge and think it is possibe with out ruining the gauge. There is only about an 1/8" to drill through to increase the hole size. Going to try it again. The gauge has a rubber/silicone plug for the Glycerine. Not certain how well that will stand up to harsh conditions? My purpose for this Guage was to measure oil pressure to confirm oil pump failure. Now I have to wait for the new Guage. ... show more

For the price this is a very good little pressure gauge. I would diffidently buy it again. Before I retired last year I was a Wika gauge engineer so i know a lot about gauges. I didn't want to pay $50.00 to $100.00 for a real Wika gauge and I am only using it on my pressurized irrigation water so I don't need a super high quality gauge so decided to give one of these a try and so far I am impressed. I installed it two months ago and it seems accurate and so far it si holding up well. I'll see what is doing a year from now but I think it will last a long time. My concern is the numbers on the dial face fading from being in the bright sunlight 16 hours a day so time will tell about the quality of their print process. ... show more

Easy to install connected it to a shark bite pressure gauge fitting. Wanted something with a large face to see at a distance. Works great and well built.

The amount of glycerine is not enough because it obscures the reading at top of gauge slightly. Oh well, i still bought 3 and like them. they work well and look clean and nice. Good price also ! Thanx MEASUREMAN

Excellent replacement and much more versatile than the gauge that couldn’t tolerate the cold on the pressure regulator. I also like the slightly larger diameter gauge. Just small enough to put on.
