    • A minor bump, and now it's finicky

It does what I need. It's not very durable. I had it in my shop and bumped it, and now it's kind of finicky. I often have to tap on it to get the needle to move. It's fine - just put it where it can't get bumped, or make sure it's protected by an enclosure.

A direct replacement for my simple pancake compressor and is better than the original dial. Just make sure you measure the clearance of the 1.5" dial and the size of the screw hole (which is not 1/8 or 1/4"). Top of the hole diameter is 3/8" for 1/8" and 1/2" hole for 1/4". For the male gauge screw it is 0.41" at mid thread for 1/8" and 0.54 for 1/4" size. Buy the smallest gauge range that fits your maximum compressor range. And finally this gauge has the screw coming out of the back of the gauge opposite the dial. ... show more
