The MCS Trendsetter Frame is a simple and functional black frame that makes it easy to frame your posters, photographs, and finished puzzles. The Trendsetter line features a wide 1-inch frame for added stability and strength, as well as a shatterproof styrene face designed to prevent breakage during shipping and enhance safety during handling. For easy display, gently lift the attached flex tabs, remove the cardboard backing, insert your desired medium, reinsert the cardboard backing, and gently flatten the attached flex tabs. Attached to the back of each photo frame are hinged hangers for easy vertical or horizontal frame mounting. (Instructions included). The frame was the perfect size I was looking for. Unfortunately, the hanging mechanism you use is rudimentary and does not make sense for a frame of this size. The hanging device is simply punctured and stapled for security to a flimsy cardboard backing which in turn became detached upon my handling. I had to devise a way to hang the frame on my own. I purchase many frames and the smallest of frames have a secure hanging mechanism usually affixed to a sturdy backing for the picture while also providing additional picture support. Again, I love the frame and it was perfect for my project but the device you attach to the back for hanging is not supportive of the frames size and I firmly believe the device will eventually fail and bring the photo crashing to the floor. The frame looks good. It's a poster frame, not a picture frame. It is sturdy and easy to assemble and the frame accepts a true 18x24 poster. No trimming. I first ordered two 24x36 and I liked the way they fit my 24x36 poster I ordered two 18x24. This does not have an anti-glare glass or plastic. You can't beat this for the price and quality. I purchased a calendar with the month and year of my birth. Bought this to display it in. I'm very happy with the product. It's not heavy duty by any means. Would not hesitate to buy again. Update: While I had no issues with the first frame, I did with the second. The hangars on the back are simply bushed into the cardboard backing. When I went to adjust the hangar, it came out of the cardboard and it won't go back in and hold. ... show more

It's hard to find a good quality frame for an affordable price these days. For every good review you find, you'll find a bad review. These frames seem to be fine for the price. I usually like to go to an actual store when buying frames, so I can see them in person. Unfortunately, I needed an odd size that isn't carried at any stores. I either had to pay a high price for a custom frame or buy online. I'm pleased to say the frame I bought, 17x22, is great considering the price. The frame's borders are sturdy and held together solid by frame staples. The frame, itself, is all plastic, so it's light weight, but still feels solid. The frame window is held on by glue, which you can see from behind when putting your poster or picture in. It works and holds fine. The only downside to some might be the frame's actual thickness, as it will probably cover about a half inch, possibly, a tiny bit more around your poster's edges, so if there's anythinf crucial at the edges of your picture, it may cover some of it. But I think that's the case with almost every frame. All in all, I'd definitely recommend one of these at their price point. ... show more
