The media could not be loaded. The adhesive strips have been quickly applied and are very uneven. They should be close to the inside of the frame so when you put the art in there you can’t see them on the side. I’ve ordered this frame several times now and there’s always one or two of these adhesive strips that are misplaced, and there is no way to remove them and reposition because it destroys the adhesions. I’ve given this company several tries. I won’t be buying these again and recommend that you don’t. Every single frame had one or more strips poorly placed. DO NOT BUY THIS. This is a good, inexpensive frame for use with canvas-stretched-over-frame art. It is correctly sized and seems well assembled. It feels like solid wood or wood composite, not plastic. The color is a satin finish black as shown in the description photos. Overall, I am satisfied with this frame. I dinged one star for two reasons. 1 - the description says screws are included for mounting, but they were not. The hook-and-loop pieces to attach to the art were included, but this is not ideal for my purposes. 2 - there are minor cosmetic blemishes in the finish. Most of these rubbed out with a little furniture polish and a micro-fiber cloth. But there are some areas where the black frame has a glossy appearance which draws the eye to the frame rather than the art. I watched this item for a short while and was able to purchase at a low price - less than $30. If you're purchasing for high quality art, I recommend a little better product. For framing beginning artist work, this should work nicely. I also recommend purchasing adhesive bumpers to help stabilize the frame and protect the wall surface. Finally, consider mounting with other than the included sawtooth hangars to make leveling easier. ... show more

I have purchased 3 of these frames and find that the adhesive inside the frame does not hold the painting--eventually they fall out. I've had to add extra adhesive to them which seems to work fine. A bit pricey but otherwise they look nice.

The frame is a good idea but after some time the hook and loop parts detached from the frame and the canvas fell out. The adhesive was insufficient. I super glued the hook and loop parts to the frame and it seems to hold.
