The 58" (147.3 cm) length makes it suitable for most players, while the 29" hardrock maple shaft with a pro taper provides smooth stroke control. A 3/8"-10 joint ensures a secure connection between shaft and butt. The cue stands out with its grey finish, overlay index rings, a 13 mm medium leather tip, and an Irish linen wrap for improved grip and comfort. When ordering, customers can select their preferred cue weight in the available options above (the standard weight is 19 oz). If the weight of the purchased cue doesn’t feel right at first, or if later on you decide you want a different weight, the McDermott ½” weight bolt system makes it easy to adjust. The installed weight bolt can be removed or replaced with another size to change the overall weight of the cue. For example, a 19 oz cue can be made heavier (up to ~22 oz) by replacing the weight bolt (Weight bolts are sold separately). To reach about 18 oz, simply remove the installed 1 oz weight bolt from the cue butt (if you purchased a 19 oz cue). Use a 1/4" Allen wrench (hex key) for bolt removal/installation (not included).
