I’m a brand new lawn mowing fool. I’ve recently retired and am enjoying mowing my lawn. But, I HATE to rake!!! . So imagine my joy when I saw a picture of a lawn mower pulling this bag, effortlessly picking up the grass clippings. Did I read the instructions? Heavens no, when a picture is worth a 1000 words, why would I do that??? I just let my fingers do the buying and excitedly awaited the Prime truck driver. My package arrived yesterday and first thing this morning I ran out to the garage, pulled my beautiful mower out and quickly attached the bag to the chute. I climbed on the mower, giddy with delight in bagging those pesky clippings. I started the engine and in less than .002 seconds my money was down the drain, the bag was shredded and securely wound around my mower’s blades, the engine immediately quit and I freaked out! It’s amazing how much can happen in the blink of an eye. Needless to say, I had to then slice and dice up the remainder of the bag in order to dislodge it from my mower. Moral of the story….besides the fact that I’m an inpatient moron, read every bit of the description; look at ALL the photos, and then finally maybe ask someone’s opinion who has more than 2 weeks worth of experience under their belt. 🤣 PS. My lovely dear mower is fine. She suffered no ill effects of my dastardly deed. My husband may want to strangle me for almost killing the mower I begged him to buy me. 😆😆 ... show more

It works decently but you can not allow it to get "too full". It gets hard to keep flush around the top of the discharge top and grass and leak out the sides. After a while holes start to form from the friction of rubbing against the ground.

Yes it works. Sorta. I was able to fill the bag but it never conformed to the Craftsman Lt-1000 pickup. There was blowback from holes facing front that require custom fitting. I ate far too much. It was easier to make loops from my ten foot diameter compost piles. I learned how much to gather and it was much less hassle. So far less has been more. Acres of leaves on the ground isn't time for inventing better solutions. May be next year. ... show more

The bag seems well made with strong material and drawstrings. We were unable to install replacing our Craftsman 3 bagger top (without the bags) like in the photo. It may fit over a 2 bagger system like in the photo. We tied the bag to the pipe coming up from mower deck and were able to gather leaves with it. We filled the bag a little over half full which amounted to twice as much as our 3 bagger system would hold. We used our JD tractor front end loader to pick up the bag and haul it to empty it. To empty the bag, we laid it on the ground and then had to roll the bottom some to get a grip to empty this bag. It would have been good to have a strap on the bottom to aid in emptying. This is one of the BEST products I have bought to increase my efficiency, make jobs easier and quicker to do. I love this product so much I'm buying a second one , because I'm so afraid that I will misplace lose or lend this out and not have it for my use ... I do small amount of landscaping and this is a MUST have for me ... You cant appreciate it til you buy one.....heavy duty and just all around a value saver hands down... I use it on my yard and all my neighbors and looking at it like I'm from another planet .. if you had a second thoughts dismiss them and purchase one..... 1 downfall , it takes a little bit to figure out the right set up , but it is called trial and error....lol ... from1 to 10 , I'd rate this a 9 1/2 to 10 every day of the week ... show more
