I have three kids aged three and under and a cream couch. The couch came before the kids, but over the years, well, the cream couch is now cream with spots of 'flavor.' Needless to say, I needed something to cover my couch. I have tried traditional slip covers before, but let me tell you, they look bulky and wrong from the get-go. These ones take a minute before you realize that it's actually a slipcover. These slip covers are easy to put on. From start to finish it took me less than 5 minutes and it looks practically seamless and professional. Not to mention it's ridiculously soft. The fact that it's a two piece is the kicker. With traditional slip covers, you sit and then it's almost as if you're wrapped in a blanket. I keep looking to my sides to see the slip cover trying to envelop me, but it doesn't! It's simply amazing. Which brings me to my next point - it also stays put. With the two older kids fidgeting on the couch nonstop and random pillow fights, I expected to have to readjust the cover, but it's been on solid since I placed it with no bunching or crumpling up. It takes a lot to impress me, especially with that price, but I'm impressed. For the record, I bought brown. When I first got it, I washed it in cold water with some scented soap and it still smells great. BUT - the brown color runs, so DON'T WASH IT WITH ANYTHING BUT THE SLIP COVER. Be warned. A random sock was still in the washer when I ran it through and now my once white sock now looks like it has been through the mud. A lot.     • The best slipcover I've ever used

For a non-fitted slipcover, this thing is amazing. It stays well and looks good. I adjust it much less than I have others in the past, and it doesn't attract as much lint as I expected (I do roll it occasionally with a good lint roller.) The tear off tags others mentioned really scared me, but they came out, no problem at all. The few little things left were easy to pull out, took me less than two minutes to do both sides. In the last 5 years, I have had slipcovers from major brands they sell in big box stores and yuppie catalogs and this cost less and covers better. The only con I can think of is that it is a little on the thin side. That's also a plus, it fits in a standard washer, no problem. But it makes me a little concerned that it might tear or wear out. Even if it lasts us 18 months, I will still be completely satisfied with it. ... show more

I ordered two slipcovers, both the same, one couch sized and one loveseat sized. Both are the chocolate color. I have had these couches for almost 10 years. We bought them while stationed in Japan, we now live in Texas, so these couches have been all over the globe! They were originally blue in color, and have stood up except for the fabric. 3 kids, 2 dogs a cat and a ferret can be very hard on a couch. The color no longer matched the living decor. Buying new couches were too expensive right now so we decided to order these slipcover. I paid about !20 for both, around $60-62 each cover. It is very very soft, I am a bit worried about it fuzzing up over time, but we will see. Extremely stretchy, I have a very large sofa, it has huge arms and I was worried this might not fit, but it worked like a champ! It fits very snugly around the arms and back. It very easy to install, one person can do it by themselves. The cushions are not as easy as the video shows. I had two very large bottom cushions and it can get a little tricky trying to put the entire bottom piece in as one piece. You do still see the crease in the middle of the cushions. You could take the excess from the cushion cover and make it look like 2 or 3 cushions instead of one long one. The hem does not hang evenly, at least not for me. In the back it tends to ride up about 2 inches off the floor because there is nothing to tuck it into to keep it in place. Now if your couch is against the wall, this won't be a problem and its really not that noticeable. The reason why I gave it 4 stars out of 5 is because it has paper tags on the arms, back and seat, which you rip off. These tags are intended to show you where that piece of the cover goes for example, arm, back, center and another arm. While these are handy, the thing is, they do not come completely out, they are actually sewn into the fabric, so you're stuck with white paper stuck in the seam (please see photos posted). Now, my anal retentive self cannot put up with this,s o I took a pair of tipped tweezers and dug it out piece by pirce until you couldn't see it anymore. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they did this. The only one (there are 4 tags in all) that rips clean is the on the seat where it meets the big white square. Your cushions go over this, so you won't see it anyway! Aside from that, I'm very very pleased, my couches look so good now and match the living room perfectly. I have attached several pictures, please feel free to see them. This is a great buy if you are on a tight budget and really want to give your furniture a face lift! ... show more

We had a sofa set that was still very comfortable and of good construction, but after going through the baby to toddler years, had its fair share of spills and stains. We were very close to making a major purchase and buying a new sofa set when I decided to research slipcovers on Amazon. I had used them in the past but was not a fan of the 'draped sheet" look. The comments of others on Amazon as well as the fact that these had a seperate cover for the seat cushions is what really peaked my interest so I went ahead and purchaed the sofa slipcover as well as the cover for the chair. Honestly, this was the one of the best purchases I have made in years! These slipcovers are true to color (choc brown), soft, stretchy and clingy. I put then on with no help in less than 20 mins and did not have to do much tucking or primping as the size was perfect for my oversized sofa and chair. The end result - my husband taught I had bought the new sofa set we had looked at in the store a few days back! These slipcovers are amazing and are machine washable, affordable and feels so soft and comfy. The hubby is already speaking about buying it in other colors so that we could occasionally switch up the look of our living room! ... show more
