I got a great deal on this sofa slipcover. The colors are rich and my family agree these are the nicest slipcovers I have ever purchased. I have always used slipcovers since my kids were little and continue to do so because of our pets. The only thing I have to say that can be listed as a negative is that my cat already made small holes in one of them with his claws. My older slipcovers were of a thicker canvas-like material that he couldn't make holes it, but my slipcovers never looked nice and were always a terrible mess when we got up off the sofas and that drove me bananas. I hated the way other slipcovers looked. These are so beautiful and stay in place perfectly, I never fight with them, but be warned if you have cats. They are soft, machine washable and well-made. I haven't had to wash the larger part that goes around the arms and back of the sofa, but I do wash the seat cover weekly. It is so easy and convenient. I'm not the best at putting the cushions back in, I don't put them in perfectly and it makes my anal teenager crazy so I let her do it and it looks just like real sofa upholstery when she gets it back in. The seat cover zips and it always looks wonderful. (But I do treat the zipper with great care so it won't break. Zippers aren't what they used to be in general.) I would buy these again.

After reading all these reviews I was a little skeptical. I ordered it anyway because it was in the budget and I don’t feel like paying a month of rent on a new couch. I just finished putting it on my couch. First thought right out of the package: so soft. Second thought: flimsy. My couch is enormous so I was super worried I would tear this flimsy cloth like a paper towel. But I stretched this baby until it covered my beast of a couch. It got it on and I was sweating. My pets were watching me wrestle this slip cover as if I were some monkey they were watching in a zoo. It fits well enough. Remember that this is not tailor made, it’s a one size fits all situation. So don’t be shocked if it fits awkwardly in some places. The tag issue that I kept reading about is not an issue at all. You just rip it off and it’s gone. I don’t understand what all these complaints were about. How many ways are there to not do that right? Maybe they updated their product? At any rate, it’s a none issue so don’t worry about it. So far I haven’t had to deal with the excessive tucking issue that I kept reading about. Might be because my couch is big and it’s stretched at capacity? Or that this slip cover has been on my couch for a total of one hour? I’ll keep you posted. What I’m most surprised about was that the separate cushion cover didn’t rip when I was shoving the seat cushions into it. I mean, they are pretty huge. I started off being really dainty as I was putting them on, and then at one point I was like “to hell with it!” and really started shoving them in. I wanted to get it over with and I was thirsty. Advice: just put it on a little at a time. If it doesn’t seem like it’s stretching just do little sections at a time. Don’t be violent with the material but don’t treat it with kid gloves either. It best to move the fabric firmly in small sections rather than firmly in large sections. If that makes sense. I think that’s how it gets torn right off the bat. So soft. And it looks so much better. Really changes the room and the price was just right. Will it withstand three animals and a husband? Only time will tell. I’ll update. Update: Almost to the 2 month mark, and to be honest, I forgot that my couch had a slip cover on it. It has held up shockingly well with 2 cats, 1 dog and a husband. No rips or tears. I don’t have to adjust anything. It looks nice. The only thing I noticed was one small snag on the seat. Not a big deal, but it did happen. Other than that. It’s been perfect! I’m happy with my purchase.

The material is a soft plush that is thin and breathable but not so thin that is can been seen through, You could easily cover a dark colored couch in a light slip cover. It has elastic corners about seat-cushion height and hangs down on the sides. There are no complicated ties on the underside. The two-piece design is a LIFE SAVER compared to other slip covers on the market. I have already purchased another one for my sofa and will soon be ordering one for my recliner as well. The flit well even with my love seat having high armrests. There are small tags attached with a few stitches that detach easily. The tags are labeled "arm, arm, front center, back center, tuck and tuck" so it's super easy to align with your couch. The "tuck" tags are on what looks like loose bits of fabric but you are meant to tuck these flaps down between the back cushions and the corner of the arm rests. At first glance it might look like an ill fit but because of these added parts of fabric actually help you maintain the shape of your couch. It doesn't look like a couch that's been shrink-wrapped - it just looks like a beautiful couch! I'm in love with these and I highly recommend then to anyone!

I like the two piece option as a one-piece slipcover just looks like you've thrown an old sheet over your couch to me. I put it on and I love the fabric, it's very soft. The "sand" color that I ordered is a little darker than I'd expect - maybe "wet sand", but that's really not an issue as it's still fairly neutral. It was easy for me to put on by myself as it's very stretchy and forgiving about the way you might contort it to get it over your sofa. The only thing that really bothered me about this are the stupid tags that tell you front/back/arms. First off, are these really necessary? If you need instruction for this, I have to wonder if you can find your way out of a wet paper sack. Anyway, they're sewn right into the seams on the OUTSIDE of the slipcover! Now, I admittedly have a touch of OCD, so I went to work removing it with my seam ripper - I didn't realize it wasn't just stitched in on a temporary fashion until I'd moved halfway through the first tag. Needless to say, I was less than pleased to have to take the whole damn thing off to sew up the hole on the arm of my brand new slipcover. I cut two of the other three off (the fourth is hidden by the seat cushions), but am annoyed by the bit left in the seam - it's like my eye goes straight to it every time I walk in that room! I may be ripping/resewing those as well.

I want to start with how impressed I am by this product. I was a bit skeptical at first. I am always weary when it comes to buying fabric online. But then I thought well even if it’s slightly too big I can hem it to fit right. Putting the slipcover on did take a little time however mind you I’m a perfectionist so I have to make sure every corner was where the directions tell you to put it. I started with the cushion cover.. I did get a bit concerned because it did seem SLIGHTLY too big. But I set it aside a decided to worry about it later. Next I put on the couch cover. It fit nice a snug much better than I expect. I was very pleased knowing I would not have to hem it to fit. Then I put the cushions with the cover already on onto the couch. And to my biggest surprise what I thought was slightly too big actually fit very nicely when tucked into the couch. Any product you choose to buy online will always without a doubt have both incredibly good reviews and very disappointing reviews. However if you know how to sew and hem fabric “saggy” or loose fitting fabric can be adjusted to fit just right. Based on my experience I did not have to do either of these things as it fit perfectly. The fabric is as described it is very very stretchy and very soft to the touch. I will be buying this same product for my crocheting chair and the love seat in my kids playroom. I would def without a doubt would recommend this product to others I am very pleased. Bye bye ugly green floral couch!

Based on such stellar reviews, and in spite of all my previous negative experiences with various slip covers, I purchased 3 of these (sofa, loveseat, large chair). As soon as I put the sofa one on, I knew no amount of tucking, etc. would make it look anywhere near the photos. There was NOT a sizing issue, simply a quality issue--and YES, it is totally bizarre that they chose to sew tags into the visible seams all over--even more bizarre is on one of them the "front of sofa" tag was sewn into the BACK. Had a hard time figuring out what was going wrong until I realized that. I had hoped to have some more time with our old sofa furniture by using the beige covers to "update" the color. I SHOULD HAVE simply stopped after the sofa, packed everything back up and returned them, but my husband (not wanting me to feel bad) kept insisting "Oh, its not bad...it looks better," only to later find after putting them on all the other pieces that he was just trying to "help." At that point I didn't feel comfortable returning them. Biting the bullet and having new furniture delivered, sending the current ones to the unfinished basement, where they will still look better WITHOUT these slip covers. Sickened to have wasted money on these 3, and having to write out a review just makes me more mad about it, but, personally I am sick of getting items from Amazon these days that are highly rated with detailed reviews, only to find the opposite of what you expect. You used to be able to weed out the fake reviews, but apparently even "verified" and detailed is meaningless as well, causing me to drastically reduce purchases here as much as possible in favor of other retailers until Amazon gets a handle on this rampant issue. If you are a college student in a dorm, or very young person in their first apartment this may be your thing...however, these do not work at all in a full-fledged adult's home, and I DEFINITELY would not advise anyone get these for even for home staging, because they are not those kinds of slip covers. This is a flimsy fabric with mini-square patterned texture on it. I'd imagine that for that purpose (staging) you'd want an un-textured, stiff "tailored" type product, likely far more expensive than this. As for these slipcovers, off to Goodwill, which will make some college student happy (unless these get sent immediately to textile recycling at intake).

Update that 6 years later, these things are STILL GOING STRONG. I’m replacing our large sofa cover (buying this same product again) only because my kids got green slime on it and I can’t get it off (slime is an invention of the devil and I threw it all away lol). These things are absolutely THE BEST. Original review: I bought these couch covers over 4 years ago. It occurred to me to write this review today as I was taking them off to wash them again. I bought 3 for the couch, love seat, and chaise chair in our very lived in living room. These things have made it through daily life with two children under age 6 and 3 cats over the last 4 years!! And coming out of the wash today, they look basically good as new! They have protected the couches well. People always comment how soft my couches are. Also, the tan/beige color is very nice. They fit so well that most people don’t realize they are covers! 100% recommend, and I hope that if I ever do need to replace them, this company remains in business!

Fits my couch pretty well. Washes well on delicate cycle and dried on low heat. No shrinkage. Haven't dropped anything on it that would stain it but I'm sure pretty much anything would wash out. Very soft and warm material, but kinda looks a little tacky. You can tell its a slipcover, the pixel material is just not my personal taste but was the best I could find within my budget. My daughter likes how soft it is though and I have to admit it is cozy to curl up on. It's not as nice as a whole brand new couch but way less tacky than a couch covered in cat scratches so if you have to have a middle ground, this is it. I'd rather have a little bit tacky slipcover while saving up for a new couch than spend a bunch of money on a fancy cover from Pottery Barn or someplace and it take longer to save up. Has some excess fabric and you can definitely tell its a slipcover but its not ugly. Does not fit like the picture but isn't bad compared with other slipcovers. Thanks to the separate cover for the cushions, it doesn't slip around as badly as other covers. I don't know about you but I don't have the time to constantly adjust a slipcover! Stretchy fabric, so you don't have to worry about wrinkles. We have a dropcloth cover for our futon which creases every single time somebody sits on it and I am always steaming wrinkles out before we have company. None of that with this cover. Definitely worth for us.
