This was purchased as a gift for a neighbor. The gift included installation by me. The box appears to be a well-built product and came will all the parts needed for a non-brick installation - brackets and screws. My installation was on a brick wall. I came to the party with an 18-volt hammer drill. For this installation, it was a toy. Fortunately for me, there was a contractor on site that offered to let me use his plug-in heavy duty hammer drill. I was able to drill holes in the brick at a rate of 10 seconds per hole. 10 holes were required for this 6-foot flower box. My experience only reinforces the maxim; Use the right tool for the job. A two-foot level and some ingenuity were sufficient to complete a level installation. A 6-foot level would have made the job more simple. Tools needed for a brick or stone surface mount: Heavy duty hammer drill. Carbide masonry bit. Tapcon Masonry Screws with hex drive washer head. Two-foot I-beam level - longer is better. These hang pretty easily, I ordered two and hung them by myself. Would have been easier with 2 people, but completely doable alone. They look fantastic, and super easy to maintain the flowers with the self watering feature.

I received the window box and was so happy. The person came over to install it and saw that the metal. Brackets were too large , except one that was the right size. So, called. Amazon quickly and told them. They said they contacted company and you said no return after a few days of being over 30 day's. Very disappointed!! Now I have to order right size and pay more money. Won't be telling neighbor 's to buy from you. Your packing people screwed up, I just didn't know until a couple days too late to return. Love the flower box! ... show more
