The color is subtle and does not stand out awkwardly, but of course that depends on your own skin tone (my own skin tone is medium as I am Chinese). It almost matches my lip color yet gives the lip a more healthy and vibrant color. After applying, I use tissue paper to dab on my lips to remove the excess. When the lip balm is almost dry, I apply the ultra conditioning balm and my lips feel very moisturized . It stays all day long on the lips and does not smudge despite lunch and dinner. Texture is quite smooth. I apply the conditioning balm periodically to keep the lips moisturized and shining all day long, so it lasts quite long on my lips. While I like the formula well enough, the color of this is nothing like it looks online. It goes on very muddy, and dark, very surprisingly. It looks nothing like the picture of it on all the different lips. It is not a flattering color for me at all.
