So I bought this with the intent of not having to reapply my lip color at work. First off I do love the color Witty It is a beautiful mauve nude color. I like how creamy it is to put on. It does take a very long time to dry. BUT did not last. I applied at 6:30 am go to work I notice on my cup of coffee at 8:00 a bit transferred to my cup. 9:45 I look in the mirror and barely anything left. I went and looked up to see if I was doing something wrong in applying and discovered I was not shaking it before applying. I will try it tomorrow but I am not holding out much hope. I will update with photos tomorrow. 1/18/2023 Update 1/19/2023: Now that I know how to use it, I really love it! It really lasts. It still transfers to my coffee cup,I can't use chapstick, and it takes forever to dry. but it will be my new favorite!! ... show more

Longest lasting lipstick I have ever used. Is it even lipstick? It feels like a smooth layer of protected vinyl on your lips. I promise it's not coming off on your teeth, it's not even coming off on your straw... I can put it on in the evening and it's still there in the morning, on my lips not on my pillow. I bought a color that would not have been my first choice because it just happened to be discounted. I'll be buying more. You can guarantee it'll be on your lips until you wipe wash or intentionally remove it. It doesn't dry your lips out. Although the darker color does show where the inside of the lip isn't fully covered. Lips do have to be clean and dry for it to stick. And a light makeup setting spray will perfect it ... show more

I bought this lipstick at the beginning of December, as a classic holiday red. First, it was put up to an ultimate endurance test: a STEELERS game! Where you’re eating and drinking from morning, until night. I was disappointed. It smudged, it stayed in that weird way on the corners of your lips but not in the center, and I kept on having to reapply it, and it refused to dry. I thought maybe I could’ve let it dry more after application, and so I did this for Christmas and New Years, and was a little more satisfied with it, but it still feathered off in the middle of my lips. The color was pretty, and my lips didn’t stick together like they do with maybelline color ink matte. But not transfer-proof, and took forever to get it to dry. ... show more

The ONLY part I am disappointed about is the way the colors are shown on the models. I bought Lippy based on the fair skinned model as I am have fair skin. It is actually a candy apple red and VERY bright. It was not the look I was going for....HOWEVER, that being said, the product itself is great. It goes on smooth, dries quickly and has that shiny look I was hoping for. It lasts through coffee, lunch and even blotting my lips when I got my drink on my face.     • Great color and doesn’t come off when adding lip balm

This one is tough to review. I’m a matte ink user with many shades and daily use. This new vinyl formula is different in a few ways but useful. Worn alone, it has to be shaken first and left to dry longer than the matte formula. It is sticky but isn’t all gloss? The gloss wears off very quickly BUT the color behind the gloss stays reasonably well and can be topped off with a lip balm or gloss which makes this vinyl formula better than matte for winter IMO. If I try to add lip balm midday over the matte formula it removes the lipstick. So I appreciate both formula for not smearing or leaving me blotchy color after meals. I’m a mom of toddlers and sometimes I don’t see my reflection for long periods. I can’t have makeup falling off. So Matte Ink is still my number 1 but vinyl is great for layering on more moisture throughout the day in winter. ... show more

I followed all the tips and tricks for this product, shook it for like a minute, applied to bare lips, didn't overlap swipes or rub my lips together, and let set for like 10min, still a little came off but it was pretty miniscule. I got a good 6 hours of wear w drinking out of it but came time for pizza dinner it lost it's staying power, overall tho still not bad, and the shine you get is nice, you don't usually get that in a long wear, it's not exactly glossy but it's not matte either. I’ve been a huge fan of Maybelline’s superstay Matte formula for a while but was afraid that these would be too shiny on me. Boy, was I wrong! These colors last an entire day, even through eating Bad Things. They’re more moisturizing than many regular lipsticks. The colors allow you to stay thinly translucent with a minimal shine or layer them up to be more opaque. Easy to remove with any oil-based cleanser. I’m not sure if I like this or not. First! It is long lasting but maybe l last too long. Depending on how dry your lips are, this will stain the life out of your life’s. I tried to wipe it off one time and it wouldn’t come off at all. I showered and used soap which helped none. It’s like rubbery a little. When you out on a new coat, it’s sticky which doesn’t really bother me but it is very sticky. I like this but it doesn’t come off easy ... show more
