at first when I open this I was kinda confused because it’s got the legs that go out to the side and then it pops open but then once I realized how to actually open it it was really cool now to close it. you gotta remember you’ve got a slide the leg because it does lock in place you got a slide leg to be able to close it And it works great. It’s very nice easily transportable and a perfect size for your little one to be able to hang out in you know they’re safe and sound whether it is trying to get some work done around the house or trying to get some work done outside of the house which tends to be my biggest issue. This is a great and easily used playpen. I highly recommend it. I love the fact that it comes in like a backpack type case but it’s also got the handle on it and it’s almost like a rectangle. It’s not big and bulky like most playpen so it’s nice and compact and using it. Yes, the bed platform is smaller than most of your full-size playpen however for convenience the grab and go and the size is perfect The backpack honestly I give like an 11 out of 10 just because of how durable it is and how nice it is

Let me start by saying I love maxi cosi. Their car seats are my favorite and they have the best customer service. Anyone who has some kids has probably dealt with the dreaded pack and play….they’re huge and heavy, super bulky and impossible to travel with. The maxi cosi comes in a backpack…I was like ok I’m interested! I opened it and it was easy to pop up and I didn’t need any instructions to figure it out, I had the whole thing set up in 15 minutes. I think that what throws me off is the child featured in the add is bigger than I expected an infant to be lol. This is definitely infant use or little toddler for the play yard set up. I felt like I used the pack and play with my oldest for quite a while and I don’t feel like you could use this as long, I’d probably go to 2 max. That said, it’s extremely aesthetically pleasing for a played/pack and play situation and easy to set up and collapse and how nice that it all stores in a nice little backpack! These things have certainly evolved over the years, but just be aware it’s about double or triple the price of a pack and play and I think you’ll get less use out of it-however the experience using it will be more pleasant!

Lightweight and convenient. Weighs approximately 14 pounds. The mattress portion is foldable and fits inside a convenient carrying bag. Space saving when not in use. Perfect. Super happy. Soft and comfortable. Exquisitely beautiful. Well thought out design. This can be used for an infant and toddler at the same time. Eco friendly. Can fit into a vehicle trunk easily. I was really looking forward to getting this play yard. I had to fight through my prejudice that expensive things are better made and look at this with open eyes and evaluate it based on common sense. I found many things to like, but, ultimately, I made the decision that our little one was NOT going to sleep in it. I am an Amazon vine reviewer so I paid nothing to get this product, but I have to pay taxes on it. If I didn’t review it and told Vine of my concerns, then they would remove it from my tax liabilities. So, in choosing to write this review, overall it is costing me money since I am throwing away the product. I believe it is potentially dangerous and although that danger may take many people using this product for years to be seen, I am hoping no child is ever hurt. I am writing this despite the fact that this is fast to setup (but so are the initial packnplays if you know how), light, and, when in its bag, it can be carried backpack style. It is harder to close up because of how you have to depress the buttons on both sides at the same time. This is harder for me than packnplays. So why am I throwing this out? The support legs angle out significantly (over 6 inches) from the sides of the play yard (on the outside) so I feel it poses a tripping hazard. An adult (or even child’s foot) could easily catch their foot there when walking quickly, in the dark, or just not expecting it there. When you are going to a baby, you are often walking quickly and/or in the dark. Often we are keeping the room as dark as possible when putting the baby in bed or taking her out and trying to feed her before she fully wakes up. We could easily catch a foot on one of the supports which could jerk the baby in the play yard or, worst case scenario, we could fall with the baby in our arms. This risk is greater than other similar play yards as their legs don’t appear to stick out as far as these. This risk is increased at Grandma and Grandpas house or with anyone who has either vision or other problems. I do not like that the mattress end part zips onto the larger part when used in floor mode. There is a closed space created there. I remember reading a newborn’s SIDS risk goes up if they rebreather air from a mattress. Could this little gap be dangerous? If baby turned over and breathed into this gap, could they eventually rebreathe air high in CO2 and low in O2 enough to cause SIDS or other health problems? Those are questions for the scientists who study this to answer. Still, the possibility, even if slight, is concerning to me. It is puzzling to me that the zippered opening at the bottom has a padded covering but the half zipper at the top that connects to the bassinet mode (and goes all around the inside of the play yard near the top) does not have any padding or covering at all. Could a standing toddler move or fall such that they scrape themselves on the half-zipper? It could be about face height (eyes, mouth) for some toddlers. It is a plastic-type zipper but if a child scraped against it forcefully as they could if falling or dropping down to sit, could this cause an injury? Again, that is a question for time or research to answer. Even though I don’t know the answers to all these questions, common sense tells me not to use this play yard. I am throwing it away so no one else potentially gets hurt with it either. I don’t want our little one or anyone’s little one to give us the answers to these questions the hard way. It’s an intriguing product and I hope they solve these problems.

I love this! It's super lightweight and great for vacation or traveling. It comes with the backpack case to put it into if you do need to take it anywhere. I love the colors and the quality is excellent! Much more convenient then a pack and play, which are heavy and hard to tote around. I highly recommend this! Very satisfied!
