Skateboard is easy to use. Seems to give a feeling it is fast. It does not have handlebars like a regular scooter. It took a little playing around to figure out it's usage. This is a really nice fun little board. It's very easy to use, directions are pretty straight forward. The board is well built. My trucks arrived pretty loose. I was able to use the included tools to tighten everything up to where I like my boards. The included tool is pretty nice and feels good to use. This board is a large penny board style, it's a bit smaller than most boards I have used here in the US. But this makes it compact enough to easily carry around and put into a backpack. The speed claim is 15mph and It does feel pretty fast especially in the higher settings. The lowest setting is pretty slow and a good spot to learn. The large sized wheels roll over small rocks and pebbles easily. It also rolls over smaller cracks with ease. Battery life seems good. I think this would be a great board for college campuses. My campus had well maintained sidewalks and bike lanes. This would be a great way to cruise to class on the other side of campus and have fun on the way. ... show more

• Unboxing was straightforward and had all necessary parts for maintenance, charging etc. (see photo) • Charging the controller via the provided USB cable took around 30-45 minutes until fully charged. • The board took around 1-1.5 hours to fully charge. • Powering it on was as simple as pressing the button on the board and on the controller. It paired instantly after pressing the connectivity button. • The design is sleek and looks like a typical long board. Wide base provides good stability for more novice riders. • A button press is used for 3 shifting speeds while movement is controlled by a toggle switch thumber roller. Pushing forward with the thumb increases speed while pulling back actively slows the user down. • Highly recommend starting on the lowest speed setting and working up to top speed as the spec of 24 mph is achievable (I weigh around 205lb.) • Huge bonus is that it’s active breaking (rolling back on thumb controller) will slow the user down surprisingly fast (almost fell off a few times) • It does have a reverse feature is kind of nice but wouldn’t really use it all that often. • I was able to achieve close to 12 miles on a single charge, but this could be due to a normal speed shift setting and an exceptionally humid environment. • Range is still suitable for most and full charge from empty took around 4-5 hours. A 1-mile ride resulted in a 15-20 minute charge time back to full. • Overall, it is an excellent product and would recommend this for either fun or commuting. ... show more

The skateboard mentions this is for entry level but I personally think it's quite fast for an entry level rider to use it. It definitely takes time and a learning curve to get used to riding this. My nephew hopped on and was immediately impressed by the speed. Luckily he's had some type of skateboarding background and was able to balance himself. I don't know if a novice skateboarder would be able to. I would recommend wearing your protective gear and taking it slow with this. After you've mastered it, I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with it and might even wish it went faster. ... show more

This electric skateboard is a lot of fun. It feels insanely fast even though it is only 16 mph. The fact that it does not have handlebars like a scooter makes it feel like you're going even faster. The instructions were not clear about the speed setting. It took a little playing around to figure it out. I can't believe this is an entry level board. I can only imagine how fast the regular boards are. My 14 and 11 year old love this. The greatest thing is the board is small enough to fit in a backpack then 11 mile range on a single charge, easy portable transportation. ... show more

This skateboard really moves! It took me a bit to get the hang on use but now I pick my daughter up from school in style! Easy to learn. Battery life is great. I make sure I wear a helmet and knee/elbow pads because if I bite the dust, it's gonna be a hard fall. This thing is sooooo fast!
