Serviceable as a cheap case while you wait for your good one, the integrated screen protector is too thick so it causes missed inputs at times, best thing to do is to turn on increased touch sensitivity in the settings so that you can access the quick settings panel and open the phone without wanting to throw it across the room

This case is really solid! Been using it for a little over a week now and I have been working on a big project in my garage. My garage floor is actually my project I'm working on. Redoing the concrete. I can't even count how many times on one hand I have dropped my brand new phone on this concrete floor in the past week. It doesn't have a scratch on it! Not a dent, not a ding, nothing. This case has a built in screen protector with it and I thought for sure a few of the times that I dropped it facedown I was going to pick it up and turn it over and the screen protector would be shattered but nope. Not even so much as a scratch! I kid you not! Maybe that can be attributed to the nice raised edges surrounding the front screen of the phone. Its in brand new shape still even after everything I put it through this past week. I got the really pretty baby pink color but it comes in a few other colors. I haven't had the opportunity to try the wireless charing feature of it yet as I don't own one of those types of chargers but all the cutouts for the regular charging and all the other necessary cutouts are exactly as they should be. The case is nice and slim and very lightweight. Light enough that I don't even notice a difference in its weight or thickness after putting this case on. Still fits in my pocket with no problem. If you're looking for a good, reliable case to protect your newest asset then look no further because here it is!

I'm very happy with the MagSafe integration. It works perfectly with my car mount and ring holder. I love that the front cover comes with a built-in screen protector. And it also comes with a screen cleaning kit to ensure that the front screen is clean and dust-free before affixing it. Sometimes these all-in-one Fold cases can cause reduced touch sensitivity, dust creeping underneath, reflections, or a faint tapping/clicking sensation when touching the display. I haven't noticed any of the downsides yet. The built-in screen works well and doesn't impede any functions. If you play games on the front screen that involves swiping, you might bump up against the edges, but I’m not sure that a thinner, lower-profile edge would provide as much protection. The spring hinge cover protects the most fragile part of the phone. And I've had no issue with opening and closing the phone. Some hinges can pop off or "scrape" against the front screen, but I haven't noticed anything like that with this case. I didn't realize that the back cover is not solid/opaque. It's not completely see-through, but it is translucent. It's hard to see that from the product photos. If that bothers you, you may want to find another case. Because of the hinge design, you will get the dreaded wobble when the phone is open and placed on a flat surface. You'll also get a slight wobble when the phone is closed due to the lip of the camera well (but you wouldn't normally be typing on the front cover with the phone closed on top of a flat surface anyway so that seems moot). Plus, I use a ring holder so that gets rid of the wobble altogether. That said, I think the price point is absolutely fair for what you're getting. The lines are very clean and sleek. If you prefer an ultra-thin, minimalistic profile, you might find it too cumbersome. But compared to other cases out there, I think this is a happy medium between protection and staying true to the Fold 8's form.

I ordered the pink case. The pros are that it really protects my phone, the magnet is strong for fast charging, and it stays on very securely. The case I ordered from Samsung had a much weaker magnet and fell off, so this is an improvement from what they offer. It does show finger prints on the front screen case, but it's still easy to see my screen even in bright light outside. I just wipe it down every couple of days to clean the fingers. About the only negative is that it does make the phone thicker than it is. But I guess that's the price to pay for good protection. You can easily add a hook to the phone with this case. I did that for hanging it from my purse or a lanyard. The case fits snug enough that after a week of use I have not had carrying it by the loop pull the case up or off of the phone.

This is a well made case and it does offer good protection. The tradeoff is bulk. It adds quite a bit of heft and thickness to what is otherwise a slim device. If you want armor more than pocketability, you will like it. If you bought the device because it feels light and sleek, this case kind of undoes that. Surprisingly, the camera protection is minimal. The raised lip around the camera could be higher, especially considering how bulky the rest of the case already is. That felt like a miss. There are thoughtful cutouts on the front for swiping along the side and bottom, full hinge protection is good, and you get front glass protection too. Color is basic matte black and a transparent frosted dark gray back. Texture-wise it is smooth and a bit slippery, which makes it more drop-prone than a grippier case. That, plus the extreme bulk, is why this lands at four stars for me. PROS: Well made case Good overall protection Thoughtful front cutouts for side and bottom swiping Full hinge protection Front glass protection CONS: Super bulky — adds a lot of heft to a slim device Smooth, somewhat slippery texture that makes drops more likely Camera lip is minimal and could be higher given how thick the case is Solid protection and nice details like the hinge coverage, front glass, and swipe cutouts. Just know you are trading slim for bulk, the finish is a little slippery, and the camera lip does not match how overbuilt the rest of the case feels. Good case if protection comes first. Not if keeping the device slim matters more. Overall though, a good value for the money if this is what you need.
