I couldn’t find where to request extra parts- although instructions suggest contacting them in the event of missing parts, there is no contact info. I followed the suggestions I read in the reviews , it’s a process to put it together, take your time. There is a warning not to grab the end of the aluminium tubes, which is wise to listen to. I didn’t really need the wooden mallet, which was an awkward size, I just pushed the two sides together and/or turn the tubes to secure. I was frustrated to not be able to finish this so I recommend counting parts before assembling to ensure you don’t have this challenge. It’s as described, not a sturdy all metal or all wood shelf, but it should be perfect to organize a closet. Edit: I ordered an extra set because mine was missing pieces and made it larger. I even trimmed the shelf fabric piece and used the shorter poles to make a 10” wide row of cubbies, to fit my space. You can only do this if you have an extra set or trim the long poles. I used the mounting hardware to secure it, as it has 30 cubes. **be careful not to handle the poles with any pressure as you will bend them. I accidentally pushed on them twice and bent two of the vertical poles. Overall, great storage option for me. I purchased 15” wide bins and thought it would be a perfect fit. The size is NOT 15.75” as that’s the width of one cube, a 15” wide storage bin will barely fit, but it squeezes in nicely! ... show more

    • Don't ignore the anti-tip hardware.

First off, if you are planning to use this for heavy items or build it as high as the 4-tier in the display photo, don't ignore the anti-tip hardware that's included. I certainly would not put anything breakable on them. I wanted to see how these would look before putting holes in the wall. So I built them as high as the photo shows. I thought I'd wait a day or so to see if I wanted to move them around. Well they fell to the side after a few hours, which did end up bending some of the lightweight metal poles and plastic braces. So I decided to not have them so high, because I still don't want the holes. And also not have the heavier books in the top sections. Anyway, I watched the 3 videos on YouTube just as a backup before assembly. They are responsibly easy to put together. Soooo, overall they are not a real bad idea for the $30 price. I purchased 2 of them so I have more possibilities to work with. ... show more

Here is the truth with any product, you get what you pay for, though in this case money well spent. Take your time to plan out how you want to build, read the instructions and be gentle with the rods as they are easy to bend. They provide a small wood mallet to help, but DO NOT hammer, just tap slowly until it's all aligned then finish tapping into place. Took me two hours to fully assemble. I suspect I could now do it in an hour but wanted to not rush and break any parts. Great for my home office and an inexpensive way to display and store stuff. Needed an bookshelf fast and cheap and this fit the bill when browsing Amazon. I will say due to all the individual components assembly took about 3 hours or so. Another thing to note is not all the poles are exactly equal so some of the squares look vaguely crooked. For $30 though I shouldn't complain. The included mallet was a godsend. Although assembly does take some time, it is super simple and provides great instructions. They even provide you with a small wooden hammer! Once assembled it is slightly flimsy if you push it but for decorative shelving it works perfectly!

We have ordered this twice & will most likely order at least one or 2 more! Pay attention during assemble to the double sided vs single sided connectors, because we didn't catch that at 1st. However, once you figure out how to assemble to your preferences, you can build this SO many different ways, which is phenomenal. So far we have made a shelf for my office, my son's closet storage, & a little stand by the door for shoes/purse/keys/glasses/etc. The little hook that comes with it is just awesome & extremely useful. For the door stand, I can hang my sunglasses & keys on the side. For my office stuff, this is perfect. It's not exactly fancy, but not an eye sore either, and definitely gets the job done! I have bought this type of shelf before and was really happy with it, so I went with this brand because I needed 12 shelves. I really like it. Other reviews had me a bit nervous, but overall good! I was surprised at how short it was though. I'm 5'3 and it's a little over chest high. It comes with an awesome anchor. I haven't seen many shelves with an anchor kit, much less these cheap ones. It comes with 2, one for each side. I haven't anchored it yet because I haven't found it's permanent spot yet. You do have some extra to modify the style of the shelves. It comes with pretty good instructions on how to build and how to make each different style, including what will be left over from whatever style you pick. I homeschool, teach at church, and do crafts. I've put school books and 5 bibles on one shelf (we all know how heavy a Bible is) and it holds just fine. Definitely make sure to pack the bottom shelf heavy before you put anything heavy on top. It'll help keep it from tipping (which is true for any lightweight shelf), although I haven't stacked anything heavy on top so I haven't had any tip issues anyway. I really like how the shelves are wide enough for long bins. It's deep enough to hold regular size books and notebooks, but it is not tall enough for binders. I had to lay those sideways. So the individual bars aren't super strong, but keep in mind it's all about weight disbursement. All the bars together share the weight to hold anything you put on it.
