I love these things. The nicest pair of glasses I've owned and worth every penny. They are great for driving in all weather conditions, particularly on cloudy/overcast days because the polarization and high-quality lenses brighten things up so much and provide excellent contrast and depth. On clear sunny days sometimes I switch to my TNS grey sunglasses for a bit because the amber/bronze is so crisp it can seem surreal after a while, like an alternate reality, but that's probably because it's the first pair of amber lenses I've owned, and I expect I'll get used to it over time. They generally fit my oval-shaped face well (average-to-large sized head, 7 1/4 hat size). The arms are a little short for me, so they fit slightly too close to the bridge of my nose and I might need to get them adjusted to fit better. They are pretty lightweight and definitely durable. I'm not a fan of mirrored lenses, but on the tortoise/bronze it's subtle and overall they're a great, classic look. They arrived with a Maui Jim hardcase and a lens-cleaning-material carry pouch, but I have a nylon softcase from another, now retired, pair of shades I keep them in because it's more portable than the hardcase and more protective than the pouch. Best shades I've owned, and well worth the price if within your budget and you don't lose or destroy sunglasses frequently.

My husbands favorite. His third pair of these exact sunglasses. He lost one and one got scratched but both of those are on him. Expensive but around what the price should be for the quality and look.

This is my second pair. I bought my first pair at a local Specs retailer for $300. This pair came with the same official carrying case and Hawaiian themed drawstring bag. Vision is very clear compared to other cheaper brands. I did not realize this until I tried one of my other cheap pair on. Appearance: The lenses are mirror like and the color appearance from the front is variegated with a darker horizontal band through the middle. This band takes on a bluish tint in bright sunlight. This is what makes them stand out from other cheaper brands. The vision from behind the lens is not affected by this color variation. Durability: These glasses fell out of my pocket onto a concrete floor and landed perfectly on the face of the lenses. When I picked them up they appeared scratched, but after cleaning them there were no scratches visible from the outside or during wear. The appearance was as good as new.

These are the best sunglasses I've ever purchased. This is the sixth pair of Maui Jim's I've owned and there is no better lens or there. They also have great customer service and will take care of your sunglasses for as long as you own them. There is a cost post the warranty but it's worth it. They do not distort colors at all. They actually brighten things up at dusk and dawn. Great on the water as well they are polarized and you can see into the water. They are not cheap, but I think they are with every penny. If you take good care of them they will last forever. I have pairs that are nearly 20 years old.

I bought these in 2019. Love them. The lenses had gotten scratched so I sent the sunglasses to Maui Jim to replace the lenses for a set price. To my surprise, I received an email last week stating that the sunglasses are not original Maui Jim’s and they cannot offer the repair that they were sent in to be done. The price of the sunglasses were the price that I had seen in the Maui Jim’s store. Buyer be ware! I am sooooo disappointed!

These are not worth the money. The frames are very flimsy. My $6 pair of cheaters have better frames than these. And who sends a pair of $300 glasses in a flimsy box inside a paper mailing bag. The box was smashed and the glasses appear to be damaged. Very disappointed. Was supposed to be a gift now I have to send them back.
