Stake your claim and protect your territory with the Blokus XL game! Featuring a larger board and bigger pieces than the regular Blokus game, Blokus XL takes less than a minute to learn, but offers endless strategy and fun challenges for the whole family. Each player gets a set of 21 pieces in red, blue, green, or yellow then takes turns placing them on the board. There's just one rule: each piece you play must touch at least one other piece of the same color, but only at the corners! The goal is to fit the most pieces on the board. The game ends when no more pieces can be placed down, and the player with the lowest number remaining wins! For players 7 years and older.

This game is fun for the whole family. My seven-year-old grandson is all about computer games. I’m so pleased that he loves playing Blokus. We modified the size of the game board with an erasable marker to make it easier for two players especially if they’re new to the game.

I got it for my autistic son and daughter and they love it I let them match colors or many other ways they want to play it. Packaging came without any problems, delivered on time and exactly as the description said it would be I highly recommend this game!

I was given this as a gift years ago and like it… I play it now with my grandson, age 6. He doesn’t get the strategy yet.. but will and in the meantime can place pieces properly and is proud that he can play it with me. Also, he likes to play by himself trying to place all the pieces on the board making them all fit like a puzzle. I bought this one for 2 girls ages 7 & 9 as they love games and I think they will enjoy as well. ... show more

Pros: Easy to learn. Cons: Definitely not worth the $27 I paid. The playing board is a thin plastic, and the square "wells" that hold each colored playing piece is not deep enough. Therefore, as players near the end of the games and there are a lot of pieces already on the board, if someone accidently hits another playing piece, it moves all the other playing pieces that are already on the board way too easily, because these square wells are not deep enough. Also, my 9 year old grandson nailed the strategy of this game on the first play. There was not a lot of challenge to it. ... show more

    • Interesting game for both children and adults
The game is made of fairly high-quality materials, very easy to understand and very exciting. A good workout for the brain and at the same time a good easy game for leisure. If you have children aged 5-6 years, I highly recommend this game.
