I gave this only two stars despite its good points (very quiet, auto on/off whilst spraying and compactness). Two stars because the actual connection at the top of the compressor is extremely fragile, it snapped clean off after the unit was knocked and tipped over only on the desk rendering the unit useless. This happened due to the inherent instability of the product when the airbrush is mounted directly to the unit, it becomes top-heavy.     • Spend a little more, buy an actual mini compressor
This worked one time is all. I followed ALL the directions. Including the ones to do BEFORE using. The airbrush itself was fine….but the compressor is junk. I charged it and it never worked again. Sometimes the light be red charging. And sometimes it would be green. Regardless, it never turned on again so I returned it. ... show more

Would not recommend to anybody. First of all the one i got didn't even match the product in the picture should have known something was wrong there you can see from the pictures. Second had it less than 2 months used it about 8 times and it fell apart in my hands while i was using it you can see from the pictures were it broke it was only held together by a little piece of plastic that's it no screws or nothing just a little piece of plastic. P.S. Please stay away from this product it is the worst product on amazon ... show more

I bought this for a few uses. One was quite simply to blow out my keyboard when it got dusty so I'd quit spending money on spray can air. Its output is extremely weak. If I can find the box it came in, I'll be returning it.

    • For those that prefer button airbrush, this one is great
I prefer trigger airbrushes, but I do have one other button airbrush that I keep on hand as a back up just in case. This one is MUCH better than my other one. Also, I have a trigger style similar to this one that has the cable so you aren't always holding the little compressor while working. I have found that even though the compressor is small and lightweight, if you are working a fairly long time on a project (or projects) that small amount of compressor weight might make the difference - having only the airbrush to hold is a definite plus. For those who are just getting into make up, cake decorating or other airbrushing hobbies/businesses, this is a wonderful starter airbrush. Once you are up and making money, maybe you can invest in a more expensive airbrush and larger compressor, but for starting with an airbrush, this is it. ... show more

    • Versatile and not too loud
We use this for airbrushing acrylic paint on wargaming miniatures. We definitely have to water down/use thinning agent with the paints to make sure they work right with the airbrush and flow well, but after some trial and error, this airbrush is working really well for us. The motor isn't too loud, and I really like that you can use it fully hand-held or with the motor on the table connected with tubing. The "hand-held" option can get really heavy after just a few minutes and makes it harder to do more detailed work, so being able to just have the lighter "brush-only" part to hold makes a big difference. The kit comes with cleaning tools as well. It does take a while to charge, but once charged, you can get a good bit of work time in. ... show more

this seems to do an ok job airbrushing, however with the cordless version it gets heavy very quickly. i have arthritis and carpal tunnel in my right hand, and i ended up having to set this down quite often because it caused pain in my hand from trying to hold this up and use it. it's not nearly as bad if you add the tubing and leave the motor on the table, but then you have to take the time and clean up the tubing, which in itself is a pain. trying to make sure you get all the paint out of the tubing is quite the task. it does air brush quite well and i was happy with the results, ... show more
