This is different from the typical Matchbox set. Pieces including the tractor are a little smaller than regular Matchbox cars, especially the hay bales and smaller animals. Ensure the kid you're playing with or giving to does not put things in their mouth. Value wise, it's decent - in an ideal world, you'd get a little more for the money, but it's in a reasonable realm and would be more than reasonable if you can get on sale for a few dollars off. Otherwise, this is a really nice set. It's not huge, but it does connect to other sets in the series. As far as the set itself, there are lots of little details and tons of things a kid can interact with for imaginary play including moving doors, a rooster that pokes out of the barn and makes noises when you push a button, a windmill that spins, animals and stalls to put them in, hay bales that fit in a trailer that attaches to the tractor, and a little field of...
