Item was as described, better than expected, and very soft and fluffy. White was true white. Covers well without being too long or short. Added just the right amount of coverage so I am not freezing with the windows cracked, but am also not overheating underneath it. I have intense chemical allergies and some respiratory distress, and the mild standard chemical spray, most likely a flame retardant or a sealant sprayed at the manufacturer, bothers my sinuses and skin ever so slightly, so as we all should be doing anyway, I washed it before use. The average person will prob not be bothered in the slightest. If you have a small child, launder in hot water before use on their bed. All new items should be laundered initially anyway, but I understand some people don't have time. So, unlike many in the past that have been rough on the skin or had that unbearable smell, this comforter pleasantly surprised me, and I'm enjoying its perfect amount of added warmth on my bed now. If you want an extremely weighted comforter, this is not for you. Very happy with my purchase overall. ... show more

I love my new comforter. The color is great and it's so soft. I opened the plastic that it was sealed in. I then took it to the dryer and fluffed it for about 20 minutes. I’ve now had this duvet for a few months and it’s amazing! The price is amazing for the quality it is! It’s not too heavy to over heat but not too light as it keeps all the warmth in. Very easy to put a cover on it as it have corner spots to tie the strings to! Upon receiving this item, I must admit I was somewhat skeptical. On initial inspection they are very lightweight and very thin, so I was not really expecting them to be warm at all. But to my surprise having been using them, (I ordered two) being cold has not been an issue, the weight of them actually adds to rest and comfort as they do not make you feel weighed down as some thicker heavy covers do. I would recommend having an addition top cover/throw, for really cold nights, having said that, so far, the extra throw has not been needed and get pushed down the bed. ... show more
