This is not a bedspread, it is a comforter. I have a queen size bed that measures 26 1/2” from the floor to the top of the mattress. I wanted a bedspread so I wouldn’t have to order a skirt. So I ordered a queen size, knowing it may be a little short - but it’s several inches from the floor on all three sides as you can see in the photos. Even if I ordered a king size it would still be too short and I’d still need a skirt, which I’m trying to avoid. It's thin, lighweight and looks just like the picture. I have a very high queen sized bed and hated to use bedskirts. This quilt is not only attractive (my son even complimented me on it!) but is is long enough to cover the storage that I put under my bed. The pattern is perfect; not to busy.
